In general I really like things like these. My nasal passages are chronically narrowed, which makes breathing harder than it needs to be. These can be really helpful and yet subtle so they don’t draw attention to themselves. These particular ones are made of a harder plastic than I’m used to and while that has its benefits when it comes to holding the nostril open, it does pinch a little and need a lot more adjusting for comfort. While trying to find a comfortable position I feel like it scraped up the side of my septum a bit and I think I’ve got it as good as it’s going to get but I’m much more aware of its presence than I usually would be. I want to rate it poorly because of that and because it’s pinching a little uncomfortably but I can’t deny that these are also really effective. I can’t decide if it’s worth the discomfort. Or maybe it will stretch out over time? It’s also worth mentioning that because these are made of a milky colored solid plastic, they’re much more visible than some others I’ve used. They look like you’re wearing a septum ring and might draw unwanted attention. I’m not sure. This one is a tough call. Read more

This nasal dilator is an interesting and reusable alternative to nasal strips, which is a great option for people like me with oily skin for whom the adhesive strips don't last all night. Though it was slightly irritating at first, I quickly got used to it. With no sizing information provided, I ordered a medium, but found it was a little too small for my nostrils and came out during the night. Despite the sizing issue, it worked well for me during exercise and sports, helping me breathe better through my nose. My next step is to try a larger size, which should be more effective. Ultimately, I believe these medical devices work differently for each person, but the potential cost savings and the fact that they stay in place make them a worthwhile alternative to explore. i've been dying to try these things as i think i must have a deviated septum (never talked to a doctor about it but i feel like i have the symptoms) and i have a hard time breathing well sometimes when i'm sleeping. i don't snore, i just don't breathe fully which leaves me tired when i wake up in the morning. so i was hoping this would help. i got the medium because there really wasn't any information about how to decide which size and i just guessed. they say they offer a sizing pack with all the sizes so you can figure out which one is the best for you but that was not one of the options when i made my purchase. i would have greatly preferred that so i could have tried the various sizes. having now tried the medium over several nights, i think i might need the large as the pieces that extend into your nose didn't go far enough in to hold my nostrils open. so they didn't help me at all and just felt uncomfortable. i got no therapeutic value from them at all. i still believe they might be helpful though so i hope the sizing pack becomes available at some point so i can figure out which size is the right one for me. they are kind of expensive if they don't end up fitting but for 4 devices which last 30 days each the price would be reasonable. Night Train Lane—July 24, 2025
I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, but when I travel, especially for short trips or if I happen to forget my machine, I rely on alternatives like this. I keep a couple of these nasal dilators in my grooming kit in my carry-on so I always have a backup option. I tried one over two nights and found it to be decent. Inserting it can feel a little awkward at first and the size may seem a bit much, but it becomes more comfortable after a bit of wear. The design is reusable, and getting four in the pack makes it a solid value at this price point. Still need to see how many times I can use one over and over. While the packaging claims they are 27% more effective than nasal strips, I’d say the real-world difference feels more like 25–26%. So far, I haven’t had any snoring complaints, though I usually sleep alone while traveling, so take that with a grain of salt. Still, I wake up feeling rested so they function well, which tells me they’re doing something right. Overall, a practical and affordable backup to have if you use a sleep aid device like a CPAP. I was hopeful these medium-size nasal dilators would improve my breathing and snoring at night, but unfortunately they've been ineffective. Fit & Comfort: Felt awkward and bulky in my nostrils, especially after a couple of hours. I found myself adjusting them or removing them mid-sleep. Effectiveness: I didn’t notice any reduction in snoring or improved airflow—even on nights when they seemed to stay in place. Material: While I appreciate the latex-free, reusable design made in the USA, it doesn’t make up for the lack of performance. They might work for some users, but for me they were uncomfortable and didn’t deliver any benefits. Wouldn’t recommend. Read more
I judge USB-C charging—August 12, 2025
I've used the tape version of this a lot and was curious to see how this would compare. In terms of effectiveness, I do think these work just as well (maybe a little bit better) to help open up your nasal path. The one gripe I have is it doesn't seem to stay in well, they seem to come out overnight. Perhaps I'm taking them them out myself while sleeping, but it is a bit annoying. Read more

These particular ones that were sent to me free of charge as a Vine tester unfortunately didn't work for me, but in all honesty, it might be due to the size being a bit too small. They do sell 4 different sizes and they sell a sizing pack that contains one of each size, which would have been a better option for me, so I could see which fits and works. I've used nasal strips, and this looked like a good alternative that is quicker and possibly easier (and also reusable - up to 30 days they say... not sure what would happen after that as they seem washable and I don't see what would prevent you from using them longer). I give them 3 stars, but given the correct size they could be a 5 star item. Read more
