These shoes are worth the cost! I have purchased several of these shoes at this point because my kids live in them in the summer. It's usually the only shoe they wear. They're comfortable in the water or out of the water, and they can easily be rinsed off if they get sandy or muddy. And, they're airy, so my kids' feet don't get too hot. I LOVE these shoes. Slip on rubber shoes, similar to Crocs, but waaay more fashionable. They take a few wears to get used to for sure, and at first are a little tight. I have wide feet tho, so for me, it's only snug around the wide part of my foot. I love these shoes because they are super comfortable, durable, and I've even worn them to the lake. These shoes are adorable, lightweight, and so far my daughter says are very comfortable! It remains to be seen how well they hold up to the rigors of an active summer at camp, but I was willing to spend more on great shoes based on other reviews and recommendations from friends. I found they were true to size, maybe slightly on the big side. My daughter usually wears between 11-12 and we ordered the 12. These to me are the ideal travel shoes. They slip off easily for TSA, they breathe well, and they are washable. Now, these shoes may not have the panache of fancy italian loafers..but they rinse out after accidentally stepping into a puddle of who knows what. They are basic black shoes and should go not too badly with khakis or jeans...suit trousers, I wouldn't push it. We've been using these for 3 years now and have loved them. I don't know if they changed manufacturers or? but the sizing was way off this time. My son is a true size 10 and the 10's are ginormous on him. A friend of mine also had the same trouble with her order . Anyway still a great shoe just a recommendation for purchasers to size down!
