Extremely strong scent

I really wanted to like this soap, but unfortunately it was a miss for me. The scent is incredibly overpowering - it reminds me of that artificial, overly floral fragrance you smell in motel bathroom soap, but somehow even stronger. It's the kind of smell that lingers on your skin, which was way too much for my preference. I literally had to wash with different soap to get it off after using. I also noticed my skin felt tight and dry. I have relatively normal skin that doesn't usually react badly to products, but this soap seemed to strip away moisture and leave my skin feeling uncomfortable. The soap itself lathers well and seems to clean effectively, but the combination of the overwhelming artificial scent and the drying effects made it unusable for me. If you're sensitive to strong fragrances or have dry skin, I'd probably look elsewhere. Read more
