Like many others, facing Plantar surgery was a bad idea (it needs to be banned). Thanks go to my chiropractor (a miracle in his own right), for saving me needless expense and worry (and pain). I also avoided the "mold to fit" orthotics (they aren't the best solution either), and was taught WHY these two methods don't work. The closest example I can give for Natural Foot Orthotics is the "original" 3/4 support Walk Fit, which sadly are hard to find now. This is finally a great solution to a long lasting, affordable orthotic insole for high arches.Instead of a bump under the heel (not good for PF sufferers), they cradle the heel with rounded support, and almost 1cm of lift, shifting the weight just a bit to the front of your foot. They are made well, and give just a little flex, thanks to the honeycomb support under the arch. This means they can go in a number of shoes, though I'd not recommend sandals, flops, or heels over 1". I have narrow feet with high arches, "dancer's feet," so if you have lower arches, I'd suggest the thinner model, also available here and on their company web site. (Note: If you are wearing heels, the weight shift alone could help your arch and pain some anyway, but you might consider one of the high heel supports, or just a good fitting pair of shoes in this case- this is a totally different article). When you start out, you will definitely feel these under your arch if they are doing their job, but you will get used to them. Be patient. My foot amazingly is now back to where it was when I went to college (two whole sizes smaller!), after years of pounding with not enough support under my arch. Patience has allowed me now to even wear sandals or flats now (with no support) for a limited amount of time. Customer support (even before purchasing) was excellent, and the warranty goes without saying. These are semi rigid, unlike some of the foam pads you can buy all over, so they are going to last, and provide real support (not just comfort). With support for Longitudinal and Transverse arches (you have 3), they even rival some of the more pricey (custom fit) orthotics costing 2-3x as much. You might still need something like those, but Natural Foot Orthotics are definitely worth it if they can save you from the molded inserts, or surgery. It's like the best of everything. Back and foot pain is already so much better, even after a week! Looks like a trip through the dishwasher or a quick scrub is all you'll need to clean these EVA supports. They are easy to move from shoe to shoe if you only have one, and slide easily into trainers, boots, or flats. You don't even need to remove any existing insoles from most shoes. I absolutely love these arch supports. I have high arches and these have worked amazingly well. I had pain in both feet for years because I couldnโt find over the counter or custom fit inserts that helped. I no longer have any foot pain. Originally, I went to the Good Feet store and left in shock due to the price. I highly recommend this product. It is priced well and it works. Read more
I was a customer of the Good Feet Store and while I have been very happy with their product, their product is expensive. Natural Foot Orthotics is a nice alternative that doesn't hit you hard in the wallet. I made a good choice. Read more
These specific ones are HARD, and literally All the other ones ive ever found are soft or โhardโ or they will โcustomize to your footโ but what the truth is, is that a foot needs to be Molded to Proper shape , so that it utilizes ideal Form Fit and Function etc, (therefore making all the other shoe insert options null & void in my โeducatedโ opinion and also in my Experience using them and healing) my story : (if you need more context before dropping a blue face $100 on some "shoe inserts" lol) in my middle school era, so 2002, my mom dated a nice dude named Bert, he was old"ish" lol in his 70's and he was a lawyer so he had money, he was a para-trooper in Vietnam war as a young person bc they basically almost Had to; anyway, he was into motorcycles at this point in his life and at a Convention one year , there was a Vendor selling Shoe Inserts like these; HARD and intended to shape the foot to best structure etc. I gotta tell you the baseball team hated me and the coach called me 'Ant Stomper' yo lol, but it sounded more like Aint Stahwmper, anyway I was flat foot back then u know... Alas, Bert spent at least $250 on the shoe inserts for me that day, ( I feel like it was $400 tbh but...) [ok I asked bard about inflation and apparently 250 in 2002 would be about $420 at Dec 2023, LOL] so this price is pretty good deal imo even tho they seem pricey but whatever people gotta make money let me tell you, wearing those inserts was like golf balls in my shoes, and u know they make kids run at school, but I wore them, and wore them and wore them and they FIXED my feet bro fr, I was able to run faster, I lost excessive body fat because I was ABLE to enjoy running and playing as a kid, my posture improved, my mind improved etc. the list of positives goes on 20 years later I Found them again, meaning the same style, not sure of its the same brand I doubt it I have them in right now, Day 1 I stand up mostly at my desk and within 10 minutes I feel the effects of these inserts Lifting my tendons in my foot and its literally pulling all this other stuff into alignment Ive felt micro movements in my knees, my hips, my pelvis, my upper back, my sternum and even my teeth lol, might've gotten a bit nauseous , although that could be from typing all this lol I love these things, if I had Any complaint, its that I should've had these sooner. I hope my story encourages You to invest in your self; and your feet are SO important , like every part of you, but you know what I mean, so since you are using your feet EVERY DAY, I encourage these. might update the review later! im just so excited about this that I typed all this lol update as of may2,2024 Itโs 2 AM and I found this review that I wrote that I kind of remember riding but itโs definitely way too much detail in this is cracking me up so Iโm just gonna continue with this I still love these shoe inserts. ๐๐๐my right foot doesnt feel it anymore. i kinda miss the pain. my left foot feels it in the arch still. when i wake up , my two toes, left foot hurt for the first few steps of the day Read more
