This foundation is beautiful! It’s lightweight but still smooths out skin tone and discoloration, it’s hydrating and glowy. It feels like skincare but gives perfect coverage and lasts all day! Very lightweight foundation, the color matches perfectly. I really love the cushion it comes with for application, makes it really smooth and the coverage is really nice! I would say it is light to medium coverage. My favorite part about the product is the packing, unlike most foundations you can't really bring them with you out and about for touchups due to the packaging, but this one already has the cushion and a mirror all in one sleek package. I have VERY sensitive skin and normally hate wearing anything besides sunscreen on my face, but this compact is perfect. I love how I can dispense as much product as I want and it's a really lightweight formula. The advertisement says this is a buildable coverage makeup foundation, and creamy makeup must be thicker for me, mainly if I apply it with a puff. If I am using a liquid like this, I would need a bottle or tube, and then going over my face with a sponge blender, I could spread more over my face, resulting in better application and product retention. Someone with smoother, more youthful skin will do well because this is a pleasant product with a mild ingredient list. The feel is very lightweight and not moist enough for my mature skin. Initially, my main issue was figuring out how to dispense it. I could see some of the product was hidden inside the hole in the center of the open compact. I removed the sanitary seal and tried doing many things until I tipped the compact slightly to the bottom left and pressed the latch area. Then I saw a droplet trying to come out. This is an attractive compact with a mirror. The Desert Sand shade is neutral and will go well with a light complexion on the neutral to cool side. I love it! I wish things were different. I will not discount this product for its evident better qualities. It's a lightweight, thick, almost matte liquid (on me) from a mirrored compact. It's a good shade. It washes well with your average cleanser. It has a mild scent. I recommend getting this for yourself. Then, you might love it and gift it to someone you love if you think they will look great. I might seem too hard on this makeup, so I want to clarify that I am a 69-year-old lady with some blemishes, wrinkles, lines, and sunspots. I might love this item if it had better coverage and a more dewy consistency or if I had more youth at least eight years ago. This is in a suitable box for gift wrapping. I’m absolutely in love with this foundation! The coverage is amazing and evens out my skin tone perfectly without ever looking cakey or feeling heavy. I usually struggle with foundations that feel thick, but this one goes on so smoothly and just melts into my skin for a natural look. Huge bonus is that it doubles as skincare. It has tea tree oil and other nourishing ingredients, so I feel good about wearing it all day. This is a decent foundation if you want light coverage as you can't easily build upon layers. Here are the things I liked: Doesn't look cakey Glides on smoothly The compact size is nice and has a mirror Things I disliked: Strong perfume smell Difficult to get the product out (you have to press the "button," eventually my teenage son worked it out) The applicator is a low-quality sponge-type tool that you will probably swap out The ivory color was darker than expected This may be a good foundation for you as everyone has unique skin and preferences, but I will probably not reorder.
