Love these! It's near impossible to find boots that fit my skinny calves. Few shoe makers make a narrow shaft. The foot bed runs a little large but the 13" shaft fits great. They could have tapered them a bit more at the top but that is just being extra picky. :) I normally wear a 6 - 6.5 and I ordered these in 6 narrow calf in black. I maybe even could have gone down to a 5.5 since my feet are slightly narrow. I do have a high arch and these have the room to accommodate that. They do have a longish toe box so may not be great for large shoe size. Like another reviewer mentioned who was questioning whether hers were counterfeit mine came in a plain brown box. They did have a Naturalizer tag attached and as she mentioned had a black zipper pull. There were 3 initials on the pull - YKK?? I had seen these at Macys (didn't have my size) and they did have a black pull. Mine hadn't arrived yet and so I hadn't thought to look at the pull when I saw them there to see if it had the same initials. And the boots I purchased were marked down when I don't think any of the others were so that also made me question the authenticity. Wore them for the first time today and they are very comfortable from the get go. No need to break them in. I think they are over priced but with my discount and the fact that they fit I had to go to the expense. **Came back to add this - I was concerned on how the leather would hold up. I bough these boots a year ago in November and only wear them a few times last year. I wrapped them back up in their original packaging put them back in the box and saved them in my air conditioning closet. I pulled them out this November to find them peeling and falling apart. I’m very disappointed because they were $200. I would not recommend anyone buying these boots no matter how nice and comfortable they are. They’re just not worth it. The boots are really nice, soft leather, bit of cushioning in the heel, seems enough for a comfortable walk, the fit was perfect, I usually wear 7.5W on the Ana pumps and I ordered an 8M on these ones to fit socks and skinny jeans if needed but even without it looks and feels fine. I am removing one star just because they do have some scratches, nothing that can be fix with some color wax, and it came in a generic box. I got them on sale so, for the price, I am still hapy. Great boot! Very particular about shoes, especially boots, due to knee, foot & ankle injury. Sizing & fit are critical. The sizing was good- size 6 Med. Pls note-The boots are narrow & so very thick Socks may be uncomfortable, but don't like thick socks anyway. The toe box is not roomy, tho I have narrow feet. I do like roomier toe box for a lot of walking. Have small calves, only 4'11, and so they were perfect -Not too tall, snug or roomy/baggy looking. Boots will be for going out on occasion or with a certain outfit, not for roaming around:) The boots are not thick, so wouldn't where for warmth. Have only worn them 3× but they still look great. The shoes have a good sole. Did not feel slippery in any way on different surfaces. Look more expensive than price. The color black was true black. The overall quality seems excellent. All stitching well done, zipper of good quality,no issues. The boot was initially a little stiff but with just three wears has relaxed. Read more
