Be warned: This is a difficult pill to swallow!

I've been swallowing pills for over 60 years, so I have some experience in this area. These are the first pills I've encountered that I have to say are truly a difficult pill to swallow! I don't know if it is the shape or the rough texture of the surface, but these are just a problem to get down. I take much larger calcium tabs and capsules, but they are soft and smooth. Even the big football-shaped Lipitor tabs are easy to get down. Maybe I'll develop a technique that makes these easier to swallow, but more likely I'll just buy another brand. Otherwise, this is a good dose for replacing electrolytes lost in perspiration from exercise or outdoor work in the heat, and the price is OK, too. Otherwise, I'd give a pill I can barely swallow only one star! Read more
