The material is very soft. Feels like a mix of cotton and satin. Fits my bed perfectly and I have a 14" mattress. They even came with clips that hold them in place! Which i do recommend using because they do tend to slip off the mattress. I did wash them in cold water like others recommend. They have only been washed a few times but so far no fading or staining. I haven't put them in the dryer so I don't know how they come out. (yes! I hang dry my sheets! Less wrinkles!) But they do wrinkle just sleeping on them. And yes! They really do keep you cool! My friend recommended me to get bamboo sheets and I will never go back. These sheets feel very quality and I love how cool they get as I run hot very easily. They are a great thickness and feel very breathable. They fit very nice on my mattress and love that there are elastic straps under the corners of the fitted sheet so I never have to worry about the sheet riding off. They are super easy to wash and the color is very mauve. I do wish there were more baby pink bamboo sheets but I settled for these and wasn’t disappointed as it’s a very comforting color. Exceptionally soft and durable, with a fitted sheet bonus that can't be beat! These sheets are GORGEOUS! I made the mistake of trying to 'save money' on bargain bamboo sheets, and within a couple weeks, I had to actually throw them away - they had torn threads and tears and weren't even worth donating! These sheets are so smooth they're almost indistinguishable from satin - they have that sheen and silky feel- so luxurious! They go through the wash well, and although they come out of the dryer with *serious* wrinkles, once you've made the bed, they smooth out in a couple of days. Another plus in that the bottom/fitted sheet not only has comfortably deep pockets - there are also *corner straps* - something I've never seen before - that ensure that that sheet is not going ANYWHERE, no matter how much you twist and turn, and making the bed is SO much easier because the corners stay in place! I'm taking off one star, unfortunately, only because the top sheet is, in my opinion, too narrow. I think a proper top sheet should hang over each side of the bed AT LEAST 12 inches, if not a little more so it doesn't just slide right off the top! I have my bed pushed up against a wall length-wise, so I'm able to tuck the sheet under on one side and clip it to the side of the fitted sheet to keep it in place, but others who center their beds might have an issue if they aren't as picky as I am. I spent too many hours reviewing sheets...so thankful I came across these and listened to the positive reviews. PROS: * We live in Texas so I wanted something that is cool in the hotter months and cozy when the temps drop a few degrees. I definitely no longer needed seasonal sheets. Instead I'll buy more in different colours. * I needed decent, inexpensive sheets for my guest bedrooms and these did not disappoint. * The stitching on both sets were perfect and no loose threads. * I washed them separately on normal cycle in cold water with Woolite for delicates. NO sta soft/ fabric softner. We have really expensive sheets for our master and I do the same and never had any issues. * Dried both sets together on low with a dryer sheet. Almost no wrinkles - the pictures attached are after first wash. * The Lindt tray will be full...this will continue to happen after the first handful of washes. * I had guests stay for a couple of days and have since washed both sets (within a week of purchasing) and they are just as soft and gorgeous looking. *Said guests loved the sheets. CONS: The ONLY con I would say...make sure your hands are clean and has no oil residue of any kind - it will transfer over to your sheets.
