These arms are holding up dual 27" monitors for me, and they're doing amazing work for the price. Assembly wasn't exactly quick, but it was straightforward. I'm no handiman, but I figured it out on my own. Some parts, like screwing the monitors to the arms, are a little tricky by yourself. You may want to assemble this with help nearby, but it isn't necessary. I had to adjust the torque (to turn it down, actually), but once I did, the arms are stiff enough to keep my monitors stable and loose enough that I can move them easily. The cable management is great. I could do without the tricky screw on the cable cover, maybe magnets or a click-in mechanism would be better, but I got it done and my cables are tidy and out of sight. The USB ports are a nice added bonus as well. Overall the value here is great so far. I have experience with this company as they made my last monitor arm, a single arm mount, which I used for over a year with zero problems. I highly recommend these arms. Nobody paid me or gave me a discount; they just work great. I don't see a point in paying what competitors are asking when this product met my needs perfectly at a fraction of the cost. Search over! Lots of monitor stands our there to choose from, I selected NB because it was competitively priced, I liked that the mount was very clean and simple looking, and that it came in white. I mounted a 32" and 28" and the arms handled them with zero issues. They're very easy to adjust where you want the monitor to be. Also, it's very easy to put together. I see some posts saying it's difficult, but seriously, I'd question those folks ability to butter toast then. You literally (1) mount the base, (2) insert bottom arms and tighten the retainer bolt with the provided allen key, (3) insert second piece of the arms and again tighten the retainer bolt, (4) install monitor mounts, literally a single bolt, and (5) finally add screws to your monitors and install them on the arms. That's literally it. Depending on the size of the monitors you are using, you may need to tighten the arms where they flex ... but that's standard across all mounts and makes complete sense since not all monitors weigh the same. Anyway, I would buy these again. My only gripe with ALL gas arm setups like this, is that depending on how you position the arms, you need some clearance at the back of your desk. If that's an issue for you, check out one of the set ups that use a single pole that the monitor arms branch off of, just know you'll have less flexibility in terms of individual height, overall height, and how close you can pull the monitors to you. This is a sturdy, heavy-duty monitor arm with good range of motion. It was annoying to assemble because the instructions were basically incomprehensible. Once I figured it out anyway, it went relatively smoothly from assembly to installation...everything except the USB ports in front. When I went to plug in my phone charger, it pushed the cable back into the base and there's no way to retrieve it without unclamping the whole rig, now two 32" monitors heavier. (Oh, and there are also brand stickers all over it, and almost none where they were clearly supposed to be. They pulled off easily enough and without any residue.) Finally, I bought this particular stand because I saw on some advice thread somewhere that this one could sit relatively close to a wall. If you care about where your monitors are pointing, this is not true. I finally decided to flip my desk around to face the room instead of the wall so I stopped damaging my wall trying to find an ergonomic position for my displays. Read more
I planned on using the clampy thingy to attach it to desk. But could not because of the way my desk was (my desk has a back, duh me). Ended up drilling a whole in my desk, about the diameter of a penny, and using the big screw option. So great you can do both! Love it so far! One of the arm drifts forward throughout the day, but I will fix that by tightening one of the joints. Lovely you can (and have to as a part of setup) do that. Wow - this is a great product for a great price. It is sturdy, has a lot of options for installation and it works great! Have two 32" monitors and theres no sagging, or issues, they move and stay in place - and the 2 USB ports at base are a nice added bonus! Recommend! Been using this set of monitor arms for three months alongside the Ergotron LX Single which was almost TWICE the price of this set at the time of purchase and the Bayou out of the water. I bought both brands because of my setup (I have two monitors and I like to have the arms mounted on either side of my desk for my ps5 and work computer) and I decided to get the Ergotron because I'd heard a lot of great things about it. I was wrong and I'd literally return the ergotron and by another Bayou if I had the energy lol. The ergotron is stiff (I tried adjusting it for like a half hour to no avail), and doesn't match the range of motion of the bayou at all. The Bayou setup is a bit more complicated/janky, but once the monitor is on its extremely smooth and has a much larger range of motion than the ergotron. I have a 27" Dell monitor on the Bayou and it handles it really well. It move quickly and easily, goes up pretty high and transitions from portrait to landscape seamlessly. One of my best purchases tbh. The only thing I really have an issue with on this unit is that it comes with A. the yellow branded stickers & B. the blue USB cables. Both of these are kinda off my aesthetic, and I just immediately took off the stickers (The adhesive comes off easily and they're a puffy sticker that doesn't rip) and decided to take out the USB cables cause I wasn't using them.
