I’m usually a little skeptical about third-party controllers, but this one genuinely surprised me. This is an easy to use, fun controller. It's a bit on the lite side, but the buttons are all responsive, and it was really easy to plug and play and get it up and running. It's also really easy to use with the PS5. I like the lights on the controller too. They're pretty fun. Read more

I really took some time to use this controller. Upon racing games, platformers, and pure button mashers to get an overall feel of this controller. Heres what i like: 1. The shell itself is made of good quality. 2. The directional buttons have a nice balance of cushiness and give and action buttons have the same consistency similar to a PlayStation 4 pro controller, which is a controller I do like. 3. The Hall effect triggers may seem a little overkill, but I do welcome a feature that will not erode that quickly with time. It has a nice and consistent read and can be used with analog pressure. Not once that I have them hitch. A few problems I have Problem 1. This controller has an unorthodox turbo button placement, it's on the left side of the right trigger system. Meaning if you have a sudden tension of grip on your right side you you might accidentally press the turbo button for one or two buttons and you have no idea how to reset it properly, leading you to disconnect and reconnect the controller. Problem 2. You cannot customize the lighting of the LEDs. They continuously cycle the rainbows and you cannot keep it at one color. Not to also mention they only stay in the center of the controller, nowhere near the buttons or the directional pads. Problem 3. The gyro system is usable, but it needs to be calibrated first. out-of-the-box it's completely unstable and you're gonna have a very difficult time using it. Problem 4. It's corded. There is no option for you to make it wireless. Though the benefit of having a very long cord is nice you need to keep that in mind when using this with family members running around. It also doesn't feel comfortable using it on a computer desk, I would have to constantly adjust the cord and I even had to tie it down with a hairband Problem 5. This might be the biggest flaw; the joysticks are not hall effects. That means they are susceptible to deterioration like a normal PlayStation controller would be. At the moment they feel consistent and springy, what constant rotations in sudden flicks of the sticks are going to be the death of this controller. Be very careful how you spend your time with this controller. TL:DR this controller could be a viable option if you can buy it on a good sale on it and you had no other options for PlayStation 5 esque controllers. Some of the key features that stood out for me: Dual Vibration and 6-Axis Gyroscope. For those moments when I really need rapid-fire, the turbo burst function is an excellent feature that took my gameplay to the next level (and really helped in some of the more difficult Boss Battles).
