I hooked this up to a Batocera linux device. It worked great on Guitar Hero using PCSX2. It did not work with Dolphin. Unfortunately the guitar controller comes up as a keyboard. That meant I had to go in and configure a bunch of stuff. Most annoyingly, one of the buttons on the guitar is an ESC button. That meant that the game kept pausing because ESC has an internal function in the emulators. I did go in and change those configurations, but it was a genuine pain. Ended up returning this guitar controller and getting an xbox guitar, the xbox guitar was plug and play. If you are considering this controller for emulation, I would recommend another one because configuration is a pain. Xbox guitar is the way to go. Read more

So first off it does what it says it does. And it works. However. This item is not amazing. Feels cheap. Strumming is a little loose imo. And buttons are a little clunky. I’ve put 20 hours on it and my batteries are still going strong. The controller shuts it self off to save battery life if you leave it on. Works on pc, steam deck, and ps3. Great for clone hero and you can even use it on emulation. But once again that’s where it stops being a good product imo. Also really wild that you have to mod the controller if you want to use 2 on the same system. You know because it’s a keyboard not a controller. That’s right bet you didn’t see that when looking to buy this. That was my major issue. Fortunately I only grabbed one even tho I had planned on buying 2. They need to rework the coding make it a joystick or a controller so you can use more than one. Or make it super simple to rebind the keys for the buttons at no extra cost. Read more
