These are nice hooks and look great. I use them for bath/robe hooks in my bathrooms, but they are versatile and would look good in bathroom or kitchens. Be careful when drilling/installing the back plate so the hooks are straight. Other than that it's a typical install (mark, drill, put in anchors, screw on baseplate, and attach hook with allen set screw). I've bought a couple dozen of these similar style hooks and have used them in my own home and in many renovations of rental properties and property flips that we've done. I love the clean lines and ease of use. This design blends form and function perfectly. It's stylish and clean and fits well with contemporary, MCM, classic, transitional styles alike . . . almost anywhere. It's also very functional and easy to use. It doesn't take careful placement of a towel or clothing item. Fling it on and it holds. I'd already used similar in one of our rental homes when we renovated 2 years ago. Tenants just moved out and I noticed the bathroom could use some additional hooks behind the door. The brand I bought before isn't available anymore, so I bought these thinking they were identical. They match perfectly except the actual hook on these is a bit longer (sticks further out from the wall) than the ones I previously used. I ended up swapping these for the ones that were currently on the wall, and putting the ones that were on the wall behind the door instead. I figured that thick towels could benefit from the extra depth of these hooks. Cons: Like the other brand, the actual hook and base are not removeable/reversable. This means that when mounting these higher up on a wall or on the back of a door, the recessed mounting screw is visible. Some other designs allow you to mount the base upside down so when they're mounted high, the screw is on the top and not visible looking up at it. These are very nice and sturdy hooks. We bought them for our mini bathroom remodel. The square, rustic style looks great. We use them with our bath towels, hand towels and a hook on the back of the door. Most of them have worked well. We had one that pulled out of the wall due to the small drywall mounts that were included. We also ordered 2 packs of these and they were very slightly different (one had very slightly more rounded corners). They were also slightly smaller which made instillation a pain because the larger mounting brackets didn't fit the smaller hooks. Overall, I would recommend these.
