So for reference, I’m 5’4” and about 212. I ordered a size 2X after measuring myself with measuring tape and judged the size based on that. It FITS LIKE A GLOVE! Perfect fit! So easy to get on and comfortable. I thought about ordering down a size because it fit so well but after wearing it a few hours, I was glad I got the proper size for me. I am so impressed by how well it put my body back together. I’ve had two kids the last two years and feeling put together feels amazing. It’s very breathable material and stretches well! The material doesn’t feel cheap AT ALL! I was so scared. I was gonna rip a hole trying to pull this up but this shapewear didn’t feel like it would rip at all! My only sort of negative is I didn’t see much Change in the booty area. It didn’t shape it much but I cared more about tummy control. I really liked this girdle! It fit very well and didn’t roll down at all, which is a huge plus. I also loved that it wasn’t too tight on my butt — it gave a nice smooth look without showing any lines or outlines under my dress. The only thing I wish was different is that the compression in the stomach area could be a little stronger. It didn’t exactly flatten, but it did even everything out into a uniform shape. I didn’t pay attention to the packaging when I placed the order because I never thought an undergarment manufacturer would ship their products in transparent zip lock for all the world to see, immortalized to the cloud by the Amazon delivery person who conspicuously placed the clearly visible undies facing the neighborhood for the front door photo. Learn from my mistake. The actual product is good for the price. It fits as expected. It works if I wear a loose top because the top band creates a muffin top. There is no boning and the crotch doesn’t have a split. For special wear, I would stick to the really expensive brand that will smooth all the lumps and bumps all the way to the bra but this has a place for everyday wear. It’s comfortable enough to wear when you go out casual but still look put together. The price is cheap enough to toss into the wash machine. Just check if you can get more discrete packaging. I absolutely LOVE this body shaper!! It’s super comfortable yet at the same time it’s perfectly snug as how a body shaper should be but it’s not unbearable at all to wear especially for long periods of time which I’ve been doing. I wear it every day, even while at work and I’ve noticed it’s also helped me with improving my posture since I do tend to slouch which is a bad habit of mine that I’m trying to correct. I’m also trying to get back in shape as I’m sure many women all over the world are trying to do especially with the current pandemic going on. It’s hard to get to the gym when I’m sure most are closed and not everyone likes or let alone has the motivation to workout at home. I love the lace on it, it adds a very sexy yet classy touch. I do wish there was clasps or hooks in the crotch area, maybe even a zipper, to make it easier to use the restroom since I obviously have to push the body shaper down. As I mentioned in the previous sentence, I definitely think that if there was an easier way to use the restroom with the body shaper by adding a zipper, hooks or clasps by the crotch area it would be even more awesome!! Let's be honest, ladies (and anyone else who uses this)- Shapewear of most shapes and sizes is ghastly. It's too tight, has lines, makes you feel more like a stuffed sausage than a human being. Not good. However, here I was, a mom of 2 with double c-sections looking to feel somewhat good about my body and in search of shapewear. Particularly, I need something that not only does the job, but is at the very least not torture to wear. I stumbled upon this courtesy of Amazon and decided to give it a go, and let me tell you, I am thrilled with my purchase. I've already worn it for several hours and don't find it uncomfortable, itchy, or swimming in a pool of my own sweat trapped by layers of fabric.
