I was really surprised by how comfortable the device was. Like many on here I've struggled with neck pain for years after a construction accident. I've bought some devices that were pretty ineffective and uncomfortable too. That said, I've generally found I get the most relief from high force traction thats over 80lbs. I simply bought the harness and rigged up a pulley with 3/8 rope. It works great. The harness looks to be cheaply made, but even if it lasts a couple months it's a good buy. Surprisingly effective for neck and upper back tension. You do need a sturdy chair or door setup so it’s comfortable and safe. Start slow and short sessions. Once adjusted correctly it really helps relieve tightness after long desk days. Read more

I had a sore neck a few years ago and trying a lot of different things to help relieve the pain, I decided to try this device. I hung it from a dresser drawer knob so it hung a few inches from the floor. Placed my head in it and adjusted it just a little bit and wow. It took all the stress off my neck and it felt so good. I actually began to fall asleep while in it. If you adjust it right, it is like having your head float on a cloud! Comfortable harness, but, the harness design does not allow you to adjust your head tilt front to back, so for different size "heads", you may end up looking up, instead of straight forward, which is not a safe way to stretch your neck, especially if you have cervical stenosis. I have cervical spinal stenosis which is, for all practical purposes, inoperable. I've had two fusions already, and the third would be a posterior approach, which is a different animal entirely. I am a big guy with a leftover football build from my younger days. Most things do not fit my neck, but this does. It cradles my head perfectly without slipping even though I put on a lot of weight on it to pull my vertebrates apart and stretch all my neck muscles. Feels so good and gets rid of headaches.
