Great Racing Experience: Need for Speed Unbound is a fantastic racing game that will keep you entertained for hours on end. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is smooth, and there's plenty of content to explore. If you're a fan of NFS games, this is a must-have! Fast Delivery I was also very pleased with the fast delivery of the game. It arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. Read more

First, I found Gran Turismo 7 a dreadful bore, almost unplayable on the PS4 thanks to horrendous loading times... I then had some fun with the arcade racer The Crew: Motorfest -- before I blew through the "playlists" in short order and found little more to hold my interest until Ubisoft deigns to give us some new playlists, which apparently happens quite infrequently. So I am happy to report that this latest NFS title brings you all the fun of previous efforts in the series, including cop chases, racing to reach your safehouse and bank your money, and the like -- plus what seems to be a nice prolonged story mode in which you improve your rides until you can win races. There's no shortage of roads to drive on in this fictional city, and environments are destructible, allowing you to crash your way through obstacles large and small. And did I mention the intense feeling of speed when you race? If there's a game that captures that feeling more successfully than NFS: Unbound, I don't know what it would be... Unfortunately, the AI when you're racing is quite punishing. Even at the "relaxed" difficulty setting, I have tried repeatedly to win the very first qualifying title, using various cars souped up to the gills. Only ONCE did I get through the second qualifying event and have to date NEVER come in first place in the third event, necessary to proceed. So IMO EA needs to tweak the AI -- or at least get the program to ease up on the difficulty after a player has tried and failed to win the qualifier X number of times. Phooey! UPDATE: okay, so after MONTHS of work, I finally won the first qualifier! Here's what to do (with thanks to other online guides!): Pick the Mitsubishi Eclipse as your first junker; it has AWD, giving you a good spread of handling options from grip to drift. (IMPORTANT: grip handling seems to work better than drift. Set handling as far to GRIP as you can, with downforce set to maximum.) DRAFTING often works as well or better than drifting; get in another racer's slip stream, charge your nitrous, and blast by him! And driving close to PARKED cars often helps replenish nitrous as well. I still think the AI needs to be eased up in "relaxed" mode, but if you follow these pointers, you may prevail after some practice... Read more
