The bitter taste is not that strong because it is in powder form; plus, you can control the amount of powder you add by using a measuring spoon. Neem leaf powder is generally very bitter, and this one is no exception. But it has a number of health promoting and healing properties (just look it up if you are interested), so, in my view, it's totally worth the bitter taste. Plus, I happen to be one of those people who don't mind the bitter taste at all. The more bitter the more potent, I say :). I include Neem powder in food preparations, but it can also go into smoothies. I even put a pinch of it when I bake yeast bread. A little goes a long way. The powder is VERY finely ground, so it's easy to incorporate it into anything. I haven't tried it for my skin and hair yet - the Details Page suggests it - but I might look into that as well.
