It is too big for my purpose, and a bit too heavy for my needs, but the quality is high, and the design is good. If I my use case allowed slightly bigger and heavier, this would be an excellent choice. The extension on the rod is stiff enough it won't collapse and holds at the desired height, the phone holder folds down cleverly, the 1/4" 20 tpi (standard camera screw on) has a nice disk to spin it on, the folding legs have a lock-out (presumably so it won't surprise you open or close). There is a ball head (not as sturdy as one of theirs I have that weighs as much as this entire tripod) perfect for the use this is intended for (phones, lightweight items, not a dSLR). I'll probably regret returning it, but I need smaller and lighter, hopefully with as high quality as this one has. This has high value, too. Read more
