The first thing I noticed about these pants was how tight the elastic was on the back. As you can see in the pictures, the elastic distorts the fabric, and, to a certain extent, the body as well. Any elastic should be pulling the fabric to enhance the way the pants look; this elastic binds the fabric in a way to make it look unappealing. Be that as it may, the back of the pants can be covered with a shirt. I like the way the pants flow loosely and fall softly around your legs. The fabric is a little thin, so you can see the outline of the pockets on the front and your underwear. The pants are high-rise; they sit on your waist. The sizing chart is a bit misleading. I normally wear a size 2 so I was trying to figure out if I should order a small or extra-small. I decided on the extra-small but should have gone with the small. My waist is at 24" (right between XS and S) - and, while the waist fits, I think the pants may have looked nicer if I would have ordered a small (I didn't want to risk getting pants that are too large). Well, as long I don't try to take a deep breath, I'll be fine. The description states "no ironing required - anti-wrinkle and easy to care for." I tried these pants on without ironing and they were quite wrinkled. They needed ironing, and even after ironing, they still looked wrinkled around the waist. These are so cute and so flattering. I have basically no waste and/or curves and these actually make it seem like I sort of have a figure. They’re stretchy enough that you can move comfortably but no so much it makes them look cheap . I am super impressed with the quality and they’re lighter for pants so they won’t be too hot in the summer. They fit great and I am obsessed. Read more

I've wanted some dress slacks that were longer in the leg, since I'm taller, and a 40" outseam sounded perfect. Usually that's about a 10" rise, so this should be perfect. Right? Well, I would be wrong there. The outseam indeed is 40", but the rise is - 14". Yikes! So when laid down and measured, the inseam is 27". So while they aren't capri pants, they are still a bit short for me. There is enough material at the seam that I can let out the hem, so that can work. However - while the size chart describes a 33" plus wait, in reality, it measures only 15" across. Which makes the waist 30". Yikes again. And with the heavy elastic in front it's a light fit. I notice that the model has a 25" waist, and wears a medium size, which is a 27" waist on the size chart. So that'll work for her, but for the rest of us, but this means ordering up a size...
