I have a shop full of every kind of tool, but I didn't have a small battery operated screwdriver. I don't want to go to my shop to get my cordless drill for a couple of screws.So, I got this to keep in the house for small repairs like electrical outlets and door hinges. When it arrived, it was partially charged and I put it to work right away! I repaired a cabinet door hinge by removing it , repairing it and screwing it back on the cabinet. Took me no time at all to scew back the hinge. The LED light was a surprise, I had no idea it had this light. I recommend this inexpensive but good quality electric screwdriver for men or women doing small repairs at home. Read more

I'm a fan of Neiko items, but this seems to be of a little lesser quality than what I usually get from them. Don't get me wrong, it does the job. Are you going to drive a screw into wood without pre-drilling a pilot hole, I doubt it, but it will drive that screw into the pilot hole very nicely. [NOTE: I got curious while writing this and just tried driving a small screw into a 2x4 without a pilot hole and it worked, but really bogged down the motor about halfway so I stopped.....so I still wouldn't do that.] Yes the chuck has some runout (wobble), but, interestingly, while the chuck would wobble, the end of the bit wasn't too bad. I think the runout is more in the sleeve of the chuck than the chuck itself. Is the chuck finicky? Yes. I've found that you first pull the chuck up/forward/away from the screwdriver and then bring the bit to the chuck, insert it as far in as it goes, release the chuck, and pull the bit out until it locks into place. Putting the bit in first and trying to pull the chuck up doesn't work the best, at least on mine. To remove the bit, pull the chuck up and then pull the bit out of the chuck. Don't pull on the bit and pull up the chuck. I tried adding some 3-in-1 oil to reduce some of the rough movement and it helped a little. As far as bits, it comes with a long, double-headed bit (the bit parallel to the tool in my picture). You can't use those small 1/4in hex bits (left of quarter in the picture). I think this will work best with bits that have the quick change/quick lock feature (the included bit and the 2 bits on the right side of the picture are examples of this feature). Although, I was able to put my own shorter double-headed bit that isn't quick locking into the chuck and use it without any issues (right side of the quarter in the picture). As far as the value, I paid $15.34 on Jan 3, 2023, but today, Jan 16, 2023, it's now $18.41. That's a 20% increase in less than 2 weeks! I guess I'd have to see what it was 12-18 months ago before condemning the price, but I'm sure there are cheaper items you could try first. Overall, knowing the limitations of this, it's a decent light-duty cordless screwdriver. Would I say it's top tier, no, but for what I paid it's suiting me very well. I'm using it as a dedicated cordless guitar string winder, but it's already been used for more household tasks than winding strings. I wish I got 2 now when it was $15. Read more

Ergonomic style allows it to fit neatly in the hand. Works as expected and came with several different sized allen bit attachments. The extra bits also fit my heavier duty Milwaukee drill/driver which actually came in handy for a recent project I was working on. The motor on this driver runs at a moderate to slower speed which works well for smaller projects like assembling furniture and small bookcases. Didn’t hold up as well as I’d hoped. The bit kept falling out the magnet is weak. The battery held a good charge. Power was good for a screwdriver and not too heavy in the hands. Read more

It’s pretty much as described, it was packaged well and delivered fast. The torque is adequate for the purpose. The bit holder is a little sloppy, although the bit stays in it. I wish, both ends of the bit were Phillips (maybe PH1/PH2). I don’t find the flat bit useful on cordless drivers. Otherwise I like, that the handle is small, like a regular screwdriver.
