I have several pairs of these orthotic style insoles for increased arch support, and these are a bit different from the rest. I think these are actually more usable in a wider variety of shoes. I say that because they come in THINNER than most of the others. Most insoles like this are very thick in the heel as well as high arch support, and nearly solid from heel to the forward part of your arch, only offering flexibility under the ball and toes. These have a solid section ONLY in the middle under the arch for solid support, and the rest is a silicone/gel material with flexibility under the heel and forward part. And other than the arch, it's not super thick. So while it certainly has some cushion under the heels, it's not going to lift you out of your shoes! I absolutely love wearing tennis shoes or anything similar to the Superga or Converse shoes. However those type of shoes generally don't have any arch support or any decent cushioning. These inserts were perfect for those types of shoes as they do give just enough cushioning so that your feet don't hurt but also aren't so thick that they end up crowding the shoe. They also feel like they will last for quite a while unlike the type of foam that tends to compact within a short amount of time of usage. I'm not a fan of either of the insoles I've tried by this manufacturer. I'll say what I said of the other product. If this is indeed a medical device as advertised I recommend purchase only if prescribed by a doctor and preferrably after trying on. As for myself, I have flat feet and these were wildly uncomfortable for me. Feels like there's a huge rock in the middle of my shoe under my insole. So no, sadly not for me. Read more

I used these for a size 10.5 in women's wide and it fit perfectly. Didn't need to be trimmed. They're thin, lightweight, flexible, and super comfortable. They're soft, offer decent support for tennis shoes but nothing extraordinary. I found them pretty comfortable. Read more
