My daughter has very flat feet and toes in when she walks. She is generally uncoordinated and we are actually working on core control for her. I finally went ahead and got her these inserts to help her. She wearks a big-kid size 3 and these fit perfectly in her shoe, no trimming needed. I noticed instantly that her heel strike improves as well as her toe-in position. She does not cross mid-line nearly as much in the inserts as she does without the inserts. The material is sturdy but not so rigid that she is uncomfortable in them. She's been wearing them daily for a week and has no complaints. I love that they have a deep heel cup to support her calcaneus, metatarsal arch support (which I was not expecting, but is great!) and substantial longitudinal arch support. $24 is a fantastic price for this quality of product! Our 10 yr old son, who has flat feet, is very active in soccer & other sports. He has been prone to leg pain, but recently started having pretty significant pain in his feet during activity. We have tried other adult in-soles (he wears a men's 6.5) but most are not full-length soles - they are either just a heel insert or a half-insert that cuts off before the toes. Everyone knows that when you have something foreign in your shoe, its extremely distracting - and the same for those half-inserts. Then I found these inserts on Amazon and ordered a pair for our son's soccer cleats. We put them in his cleats for his soccer game last night and they made ALL the difference in the world!! We started using this insole 7 months ago (pretty much non-stop)for my 9 year old daughter`s flat foot. She is wearing them in her school Nike shoes and in her tennis court shoes . We removed the existing inserts and replaced them with the KidSole. We saw the difference almost immediately, the way she walked in the shoes and also in her tennis performance(runs better, faster, not tripping over as much and moves easier side to side)She got used to it right away and never complains, actually she says she feels better wearing them . I've purchased about 4 pairs of these insoles for my son. The fit and comfort are fine, however after about 4 weeks the blue colored pads adhered on the bottom of the insoles, start to move around and they work their way up and out of the shoes. Sometimes they disappear completely, other times they end up bunched around his toes. He is an active kid and plays a lot of competitive tennis. We use them in his tennis shoes and his sneakers he wears at all other times. They have really helped his ankle and foot pain from being flat footed. Read more
These have been great for my son with flat feet. Expensive orthotics aren’t a good fit because his feet grow so quickly so we use these to give him arch support in his tennis shoes and cleats. They have gone up in price lately which is unfortunate but everything has! Read more
As other reviewers have noted, when we saw a pediatric orthopedist for my 10-year-old daughter and he saw these in her shoes, he was surprised by them - commented about how good they were and asked where we got them. I research products a lot online before choosing what to buy and these were the sturdiest I found with great reviews. My daughter's feet/ankles roll in, which I think really contributed along with unsupportive shoes to a stress reaction that ended up causing severe pain for months and her having to spend time on crutches, in a walking boot, and in physical therapy. I found these for her and bought sturdy New Balance shoes to insert them into (they fit perfectly inside) and she is doing well with the combination. My kid wouldn’t even wear them she tried them hated them and they went in the garbage as we had cut them down to her size already 😭😂 was a waste for us but maybe some else will like them. Looked nice and good sturdy quality . Think my kids just too picky. Not the products fault 😂 Read more
Bought these for my son who needs more arch support. When they arrived I was a little concerned with how firm they felt but fortunately, it was not an issue whatsoever. He hasn't complained at all and said they are comfortable. I can actually see an improvement in the way they straighten his ankles when he's wearing them. He normally wears a size 6 so I bought these expecting to trim the edge but I didn't need to. They fit right into his shoes. I did take the factory insole out first though and replaced it with these.
