So I normally don't wear shorts with liners as I don't like how constricting they can be or in the warmer climate where I live how uncomfortably hot they can be. Not the case with these, I love the liner it is really comfortable and provides a nice mix of support and breathability, with shorts this short it's great you can feel secure and nothing embarrassing might happen and yet not a constricting liner. The shorts are flexible a bit longer than regular 3 in, you can wear them in public, they aren't obvious running shorts of the type only appropriate for running, and nicely show off the bod. Comfortable. Loose fit. Very light material. Went down from Size M to Size S, but that just made the elastic waistband a little tighter. The fit is loose by design. Plenty of room for humongus quadriceps I don't have. The material is not transparent when wet (black or green, have not seen the other colors). Almost ok as swim trunks.
