Customers say
Customers find the glasses wax to be a great idea, though its functionality and effectiveness are mixed - while some say it works well for a couple of hours, others report it only lasts about 15-20 minutes.

I've tried pretty much every adhesive nose pad and anti-slip strip available to stop my glasses from sliding down my nose, but they never last long and quickly collect face oil, turning useless and gross within days. Nerdwax is a much better solution. It's easy to apply (just wipe the bridge clean, rub on a small amount), and it grips reliably. It feels natural, doesn't change how the glasses look or sit, and lasts several hours to most of the day in normal conditions. Three main downsides: On hot days, it softens and melts away easily, so you have to reapply more often. If you accidentally get some on the lenses, it's hard, but not impossible, to remove completely without careful wiping. And definitely don't leave the tube in a hot car; the beeswax can melt, then reharden into a solid block (I had to break mine open to get it usable again). Still a solid recommendation if sliding glasses annoy you. Read more

I recently purchased new plastic frame glasses that simply will not stay in place; they are constantly sliding down my nose and it’s a huge annoyance. I was excited to discover Nerdwax and give it a try. Extremely impressed!!! I added the wax liberally to my nose pieces and my glasses legitimately stay perfectly in place and do not move even a smidge - even if I shake my head back and forth or up and down. Super grateful to have found this product. Truly a total game changer for me! Read more
Melts immediately in warm weather- I live in Hawaii, and even working in an air conditioned office, this would be ineffective within 30 minutes. I tried reapplying throughout the day, but it would really need to be about every 20 minutes before they started slipping again. And then to boot, there's melting wax near the lenses so cleaning becomes cumbersome as you try to ONLY touch the cleaning cloth to the lenses and not touch the warm wax on the nose pads. Its all a very small area to try and be careful with, so inevitable there's just wax in the area of the lenses. I had to give up because all the product became was a challenging cleaning issue. Sorry, I really wanted it to work and think its a really clever idea. Ending up going with thin silicone pads, and no complications. Read more
Nerdwax Glasses Wax, the supposed superhero of slippery glasses. As someone who’s tired of constantly pushing up their specs, I had high hopes for this little wax wonder. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. First off, the concept is solid. A simple wax to keep glasses from sliding down your nose? Sign me up! And the fact that it got the Shark Tank seal of approval? Even better. But when it came down to it, the results just didn’t measure up. I diligently applied the wax as instructed, coating both my nose pads and the bridge of my glasses. But alas, my glasses still kept sliding down my face. It was like I have some superpower that renders the Nerdwax powerless in its wake. I tried adjusting the amount of wax, thinking maybe I was using too little or too much. I experimented with different temperatures, wondering if the wax needed to warm up to its full potential. But no matter what I tried, my glasses remained stubbornly disobedient, slipping and sliding with every move I made. In conclusion, while the idea behind Nerdwax Glasses Wax is commendable, the execution leaves something to be desired. It may work for some, but for those of us with particularly slippery noses or stubborn glasses, it falls short of expectations. It’s a valiant effort, but unfortunately, my quest for slip-free spectacles continues. Rating: 2 out of 5 stars. A noble attempt, but ultimately, it didn’t stick the landing. Read more
So far so good. I wasn't sure if I should purchase this based on the mixed reviews. I have pretty oily skin so was convinced this would not work. But I'm glad I bought it and tried it. I just apply it every few days to the nosepads of my oversized aviator glasses and it works like a charm. I don't use too much of the wax either. Just a light coat and I'm good to go! Read more
Love it! I was constantly pushing up my glasses and with this I apply it once every few days and they don’t move an inch. I don’t have sensitive skin so I cannot speak to if this would irritate someone who does, but for me no problems. Read more
This nerd wax didn’t work like had hoped. My glasses still slip. But I’m sure others have had better luck. My nose bridge is just to oily and didn’t work on me. Great product packaging and well worth it. Read more
