Customers say

Customers find the tennis ball launcher makes fetch games more fun and is great for ball-loving dogs, particularly those who enjoy fetch. The toy shoots balls far and is easier to use, though some find it difficult to handle. While some say it's worth the price, others consider it a waste of money, and the functionality receives mixed reviews with some reporting it stops working after 30 minutes. Durability is a conc

GET IT!!!

The media could not be loaded. My dogs and I use this thing daily!! The balls don't last as long as I thought but this is an amazing product. I literally have used this thing daily for weeks now and it functions perfectly!! We love it!!! So much fun! The balls are soft and bouncy just like tennis balls but they squeak and my frenchton can squeak them and chew them!! Its not too big but it shoots so well. You can even cock it at different levels so it Will shoot different distances! So cool 😎 😍 Read more

Would definitely buy again

Patty KovachickOctober 5, 2025

The Nerf tennis ball blaster is the best toy for my over active German Shepherd. He finally has to stop and rest. His way of resting is not bringing me the ball. It wears him out and it is easy for me to send the ball more than 3 feet. I am so happy I decided to get Nerf Tennis Ball Blaster. Only one negative aspect. My dog destroyed the nerf ball after the fourth catch. Using tennis balls that fit but not tightly. He has gone through 6 tennis balls, but we both love the energy he uses when retrieving the ball. Thank you Nerf! Read more

Fetch has never been so fetching

SSeptember 3, 2024

Woof! This is Ava, and I’m here to tell you about the most paw-some invention ever: the Nerf Dog Tennis Ball Blaster. Let me tell you, this thing has completely changed the game—literally. First of all, when my human brought this home, I thought it was a new chew toy for them. But then they loaded it with a tennis ball and whoosh! that ball went flying across the yard faster than a squirrel on caffeine! I’ve never seen anything like it. My human’s arm must have gotten some serious upgrades because there’s no way they could throw like that on their own. The best part? The chase. Oh, the glorious chase! I used to have to wait while my human recovered from a few weak throws, but now it’s non-stop action. I’m sprinting across the yard, tongue flapping in the breeze, living my best doggy life. And when I bring the ball back, my human can just reload and send it flying again. I could do this all day (and trust me, I try). The blaster itself is pretty sturdy, the balls on the other hand split in two after a few bites. If this toy didn't make me as happy as it does my human wouldn't buy the replacement balls. Also, the noise it makes when firing? It’s like the best squeak toy in the world, but for humans. I get excited just hearing it. So, to all my fellow furry fetch enthusiasts, tell your human to get their paws on the Nerf Dog Tennis Ball Blaster. It’s the most fun you can have with your human without involving the furniture or the cat. Five woofs out of five! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some more fetching to do. Read more

Updated: It Broke

Dazzle DrillerJuly 19, 2021

Updated 7/30: It broke. My husband thinks he can fix it but this is absolutely a waste of money. If I could still return it, I would. __________ Original Review: We have a fetch-driven dog and thought this would be a fun way to throw the ball far. This might seem obvious but this is purely a novelty and not practical at all. The gun is loud when fired and loading the ball, pulling back the slide and pulling the trigger gets real annoying after a few throws. We'll probably just use this when my niece and nephew are around but I suspect they'll need help using it. The trigger actually needs a lot of pressure to pull back. I think this is just a personal quirk, but I don't have enough finger strength to just use my pointer finger pad to pull the trigger. In order for me to shoot, I have to curl my finger completely around the trigger and then pull. It's hard for me to explain, but basically my first finger knuckle is doing most of the work. And the gun is designed terribly so that every time I pull the trigger, I pinch my finger pad each time. Even real guns aren't this hard to use. I really do not like this and would have returned it but my husband enjoys it so at least he gets some use out of this. In my opinion, this is overpriced and silly. You'll use this a handful of times and then it will get collect dust. Just stick with the reliable ChuckIt Launchers. Side note: even though it still works, the slide mechanism doesn't automatically go back to the start position once the back is launched. It quick working after a few shots. So now, after we launch the ball, we have to push the slide forward, pick up the ball and then pull the slide back. When it was working, the slide mechanism would automatically snap forward so all you had to do was pull the slide back after every shot, now it just added an extra step. Read more

Great Gun, lasts about 2 weeks

Robert KüchDecember 24, 2025

I love this gun for playing with our dog. He is crazy about it. Love that it uses tennis balls. But after only 2 days it started failing occasionally. After 2 weeks it did not work at all anymore. I already got a new one. But it is the same. The quality of this full plastic toy is just not good at all. Read more
