Reusable kit for Nespresso Vertuo.

KaewNovember 17, 2025✓ Verified purchase

This is a good kit, comes with 100 reseal lids, a cutter. Works well for me after some practice, I learned to not filling the coffee too full and pressed it down too tight, helps safe some money on Nespresso Vertuo pods. Read more

Good option in lieu of constantly buying new Nespresso pods

Allen LewFebruary 19, 2026✓ Verified purchase

The Nessus Nespresso Pods Vertuo kit does what it claims to do. This kit allows me to reuse the Vertuo pods by filling and sealing them with my own coffee. Although I like and enjoy the variety of coffees/flavors that Nespresso has, their pods are no cheap. Although I still buy new Vertuo pods, I also refill my used pods with my own freshly ground Costco purchased coffee. The kit is fairly easy to use. The most tedious parts of the process are cutting off the original Vertuo pod covers and then cleaning the pods. I make sure the pods are completely dry, grind my coffee, fill the pods, the seal. Nothing to complicated or complex. Read more

These work well, but

James415December 24, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I've seen a few complaints from others, but what I learned is you need to do these correctly at a day before to let the adhesive really set. When taking apart the factory pods, the original seal will not fully come off, unless you're really determined. There's no need to completely remove that plastic foil hybrid. These things are work, so its best to do a big batch at once if you can. You have to really clean out the existing pods and the largest ones won't fit in this device, but you can still make it work. At some point I'll probably grow tired of making these or become concerned about how many times you can reuse these aluminum capsules and move on to the stainless steel capsule kit. Until then, these are great. Read more

Nice option to have

DavidJanuary 23, 2026✓ Verified purchase

These lids are great. I was hesitant to purchase them as the whole point of having this system is the speed and convenience of throwing in a ready made pod and having a good cup of coffee 30 s later. However, if you have the time to fiddle with refilling pods with these lids you get a better tasting cup of coffee with your own freshly ground beans and you'll have more choices than what is otherwise available. The lids are a little larger than the lids that are in the ready made pods but the machine is still able to read the bar code, so they are compatible. I have not had any issues. Probably will continue with a mixture of ready made pods when in a hurry but indulging in a refilled pod made with freshly ground coffee beans and one of these lids if I have that extra 5 minutes due to superior taste. And yes, you save money by refilling the pods and yes, you are reducing your carbon footprint by recycling your pods. To me the trickiest part is cutting open the old lid in the pod. After that, dump the old grounds, scoop in your favorite coffee and slap on the new lid. Seems to work even if it is on a little crooked. Read more

Not good for Pop Plus Deluxe

mortydogJanuary 21, 2026✓ Verified purchase

If I had known these did not work for my Nespresso Pop Plus Deluxe, I would not have purchased. Grounds seep thru the holes and end up in the coffee and machine. That being said, I found them quite easy to fill and seal after a few tries. Read more

Great for saving money and I wrote a lot, you have been warned.

It actually works much better than I thought it would. Two things to note, it does take a bit of patience and do not pack the coffee in it. It didn't work well when I did and errored the machine. The included directions were very good. I only messed up twice so far. I used the same banged up pod for a week with no issue. How I use this. You take the enclosed blade and cut the metal top off. I got right up to the edge of the inside of the cup. Wash the pod out. I used soap and water then towel dried it to make sure there was no drops left. Place the pod in the holder. I used Cafe Bustelo for a week with this. I used the mug sized pod and Mug size on my machine. You can use any ground coffee you like. I spooned a few teaspoons of coffee in it and used the top where the word Nessus is shown to put it name side down to level it out. I did not fill mine up. I actually left the outer edge pretty empty. It has worked best this way. Then you take the brush and sweep the outer ring to make sure no coffee is around the edge. Now this is where I seem to get messed up. I added pictures for reference. I take the sticker and turn it over folding the loose part of the inner circle over and then taking the strip off that same side. I stick the strip to the top of the pod and glue it down gently while I pull the other side of slowly to make sue the sticker is on the entire ring even with no bumps. I put the sticker against the raised side wall where the pod sits. Then you take the top and push down hard. This way you get a good adhesion. I go one step further. I make sure the sticker is curled up under the lip of the pod well. I also take the pod and the top portion and spin the pod in the area use to press it down to make sure the pod will spin freely. I usually prep the pod the night before so I don't have to think in the morning. The key to using the same pod over and over is when you cut out the center ring you make sure you take the outside sticker off the rim until you are left with the original pod. The time I left a few stickers on did not go well and made the machine error. For what it is worth this is one of the better reuse of Nespresso pods I have seen. My son like the coffee but I happen to like a brand (Caribou) that doesn't make any pods for Nespresso just the K-cup. I found that there is great coffee buying direct from Nespresso but when I want a cup of what I love I use this. I store this in a little dry container. I also cut the instructions off he box and stuck it inside. I hope this helps. Read more
