I ordered the Light Gray color. I'm very pleased with this duvet cover! The insert I recommend is the Twin XL from Utopia. However, allow me throw out the "cons" right off the bat: 1- I would prefer a zipper or button closure for the price. 2- Not enough ties. I would prefer and strongly recommend, especially at this price point, that there be ties on the sides and top of the cover, not just at all 4 corners. We had another cover like this from another company and it drove us nuts that the duvet insert would get bunched up on the sides since there was no ties to hold it. We stopped using that cover. For those complaining that the cover stinks like vomit or chemicals, please research the products you receive and kindly look on the packaging and the tags. Nest and Nooks does indeed indicate on both that you *must wash before first use*. I believe taking off stars for that is petty. A company doesn't have to tell me to wash; I do it either way because there are always going to be manufacturering and packaging smells. Sorry Nest & Nooks, that you've received poor feedback like that. I washed and the cover got softer. I love it. It's very durable. Besides the cons I've mentioned, I DO recommend this! It is not as sateen as the brand I've bought before called Echo, but it is pretty close. This is a great American brand, made by a loving mom! Read more

This NEST and NOOKS Twin XL Fitted Sheet is a nicely made, good quality sheet. However, I think the price is a bit much for what you get. I mean, it's not even a full set! I don't understand why this single fitted sheet with one single pillowcase is priced at $70!! The thread count isn't even that high. Other than the price, everything else is good. I ordered for my 8 year old's bed and, honestly, I'm a bit worried about what I will find in the pockets when I change his sheets again. Lol. The pocket is a cool idea, and it runs the entire length of the sheet, divided up into sections. But that pocket could become a nightmare very easily. The sheet is nice and big with deep pockets, which is very hard to find in a twin size. My little boy has a 3-4" thick memory foam mattress topper on his bed and it requires deep pockets so I'm definitely glad to get another sheet that will fit on his bed easily. This sheet is fairly soft, but for the price, i would expect a higher thread count and a softer material. It is made really well, and I love the gray-ish, silver-ish color. But I would not repurchase at this price. If it were about 50% of the current price, then yeah, i would consider it. But I know there are other sheets (FULL SHEET SETS!) out there that is comparative in quality, but cheaper in price. Read more

This NEST and NOOKS Duvet Cover is essentially a large protective sleeve that slips over your duvet to guard against dust and body oils. The fabric is soft to the touch in a neutral grey color that works well with most bedroom decor. The Good: - Well-constructed with quality stitching - Reasonably soft fabric that's comfortable against skin - Holds up well after multiple washings - Does its job of protecting the duvet The Challenges: - No corner ties, buttons, or anchor points to secure the duvet inside, which causes significant bunching and shifting - Difficult to get the duvet to lay flat and conform properly to the cover - Strong chemical odor upon arrival required two washes before use - Comes out of the dryer very wrinkled (likely due to its size) -Takes patience and technique to achieve a decent fit My down duvet fits inside but tends to bunch up without any way to secure it in place. Once you manage to get it positioned and fluffed, it somewhat resembles a large pillow rather than lying flat like a traditional comforter. I'm not sure if this is typical for all duvet covers or if the lack of corner ties is the issue here. Bottom Line: For the price point, this cover does work and will protect your duvet. However, the fitting difficulties are frustrating enough to dock one star. If you're patient or have experience with duvet covers, you can make it work. Read more

I used this Twin XL fitted sheet with pockets on a dorm-style bed, and overall it does what it’s supposed to do. The cotton fabric feels reasonably soft and comfortable for sleeping. It’s not luxury-level smooth, but it’s far from rough, and it seems to breathe well, which helps in small rooms that tend to get stuffy. After washing, it kept its shape and still fit snugly on the mattress without the corners popping off. The built-in side pockets are the main feature, and they really do come in handy. I can keep a phone, charger, remote, and a few small items right within reach instead of digging around behind the bed or relying on a tiny nightstand. The pocket panel runs along the side and actually holds more than I expected without sagging. The fit on a Twin XL mattress is accurate, and the elastic feels firm enough to keep everything in place through the night. I have both colors and the charcoal and beige-gray colors both look true to what’s shown online, and they hide lint and dust better than lighter shades. Overall, this is a practical fitted sheet for dorms or any tight space where storage is limited. It’s comfortable enough for everyday use, the pockets are genuinely useful, and the fit is reliable. This is a nice fitted sheet and pillow case. The material is soft and seems durable. The pockets along the side are nice for keeping things close to you that you might want quick access to in bed. We have a sleep number bed so it has 2 twin XL mattresses. This fit well on the mattress and stays in place well. I do recommend planning to wash it prior to use, which I would do with any new bedding as my husband is sensitive to a lot of cleaning chemicals. It is a little pricey for a single fitted sheet and pillow case. Read more
