I like my coffee creamy not to the point where it turns white but just enough to lighten the darkness so that the dark liquid starts to look like caramel in color. Coffee mate is perfect because it does the job very effectively and it has a nice taste as well. This is a good option for the lactose intolerant. The subscribe and save option brings the price down to 5.35, which I think is probably the cheapest for a container this size. There are certain things that I feel should be considered for people drinking this stuff..... One teaspoon has about 10 calories so if you are like me who puts a table spoon that is 30 calories. I mentioned this because I drink 3 cups of coffee every day- the calories can add up pretty fast. Coffee mate also contains trans fats - one of the ingredients is Mono- and diglycerides - these are agents used to extend the shelf life and we also see them in foods which have trans fats, which have been bad. My husband or I one will order this in quantities of 5 at one time. It is an Add-on item and this suites us because it is now hard to find large containers of Coffee-mate. We use to buy it in large containers at Sam's but Sam's quit offering it in large containers. We live 50 miles from the nearest grocery store so it pays for us to buy in large quantities of anything that we use a lot of--and we use a lot of Coffee-mate. I use it more than my husband because I am a big coffee drinker. Over the years we have tried other creamer brands but nothing would compare with the flavor of Coffee-mate. I also use Coffee-mate in hot chocolate during the winter. I made the hot chocolate just as you normally would, then I add a couple of teaspoons of Coffee-mate to it and it enriches the flavor even more. I gave up my membership to a warehouse store last year, as I didn't use it enough. One thing I did use it for, however, was for these large cans of Coffee-Mate creamer. I can't find them anyplace else and they were a decent bargain at the warehouse store. Amazon offers a competitive price on this product, with delivery through prime membership. commenting on coffee-mate is not at issue here. it does not clump, dissolves instantly and makes your cafe taste good. what i like about and and buy for is the size. we are a coffee family and this 56oz size last a month. it is not used for hot cocoa or tea so i can't comment on that. all up all size containers to eqal 56ozs and it comes to a heck of a lot of money at the supermarket. this canister is the right size and price for me. will keep coming back. Kudos to my favorite coffee creamer. Why? It's the ONLY quality creamer that is truly gluten-free and lactose-free. I made the mistake of using a friend's powdered creamer. It was delicious, but I became ill afterwords and could not figure out why. Her "creamer" was NOT Coffee-mate and, after reading the packaging ingredients on her container, in very small letters, it states, "contains milk". This particular brand advertises the fact that it is NON-DAIRY! I believe this to be false advertising when, indeed, this is a powdered DAIRY product. I have trusted Nestle's Coffee-mate for many years because it's true to its labeling, tastes fantastic, and I'm guaranteed no "unexpected" adverse reactions. Keep up the great job Nestle! Read more

Both my wife and I drink a fair amount of coffee and we use a lot of powdered cream and Coffee-Mate is definitely the best around. We don't seem to be able to find this size container at any of our grocery stores so when the price is right I order several at once. The only thing that bugs us is that it frequently offered by a different seller and not always at such a good price. Recently it was posted at $15.99 and I simply won't pay that much for it. I kept watching and it was soon posted by a different seller at $14.40 which worked out to .04 cents cheaper than the first seller mentioned above. This is a 5 star product and is a great buy at a good price. My advice is to be patient and watch for a price that you think is a good one.
