Neutrogena Purescreen+ Mineral UV Tint Face Sunscreen is the absolute BEST! The price is right! It stood up to the hot Florida beach sun! The product is not harsh on the skin. It does NOT sting my eyes. It is not oily. It doesn't dry out my skin. There is no offensive odor. It is lightweight. It blends in easily. The tint is subtle. It doesn't cause acne! It is just the BEST! MY only "grievances" are that I wish the bottle was 2 oz, and that the bottle had a more controlled spout so that the release of the product wasn't sloppy / messy, AND I wish the bottle had a flip snap top for those with hand disabilities. Those perks would make for THE MOST PERFECT suncreen BUT those grievances are NOT a deal breaker. I just love this product! Read more

Highlights of this SPF skin tint: 📍Light coverage, watery texture 📍Starts out a bit too slippery feeling but dries down very natural to radiant (sweaty for oily skinned folks) 📍 Absolutely can apply the 1/4 teaspoon necessary to get the full SPF 30 protection, but it'll take a minute to absorb/dry down 📍Tint is quite friendly for my skin tone, which matches Loreal True Match C2.5 (slight cool undertone, light medium shade) 📍Does not irritate my eczema or rosacea, does not break me out (I am acne prone) 📍Sets nicely with a good setting powder and stays all day with powder + setting spray 📍Comes in at a heroic price point compared to other tinted mineral SPFs 📍 Doesn't pill under concealer, doesn't pill when used over skincare (like azelaic acid and peptide/hyaluronic acid serums) - in fact I've never had it pill up on me Low Points: 🔻 The cap does not seal the tube, so product leaks out into the cap every time you close it. I fixed this by putting a small piece of scotch tape over the opening, but Neutrogena should fix this issue bc it's a big deal and really detracts from an otherwise great product. 🔻 Will stain clothes, so isn't the best option for blending into the jaw/neckline About me, so you know how to take my opinions: I'm a minimalist when it comes to makeup but have recently become much more strict about my sunscreen because of difficult to control eczema and rosacea, both of which benefit from a good tinted mineral sunscreen because it can minimize inflammation while blocking outdoor and indoor light wavelengths (both can worsen rosacea). I have deep dark discoloration in my tear troughs, so I appreciate a very good shade match between a tinted SPF and a durable concealer. I also have "mature" skin (elder millenial) and hate when any skincare accentuates my fine lines. This stuff looks like my skin but just noticeably more even toned than usual. It definitely doesn't accentuate fine lines or texture. Read more

Pros: -very moisturizing for dry skin. Leaves skin glowy AF. Avoid if you’re oily. -The pigment is great. Doesn’t look orange -Doesn’t burn eyes at all. -Rubs in easy Cons: -Is kind of greasy. Once it dries, it’s okay but it takes a little while to dry. It’s really not that bad though, especially if you have dry skin and want a super glowy look. -Smells kind of strong. It doesn’t have that typical coconut, fragranced smell like traditional sunscreens do. It says it’s fragrance free but it does have this distinct sunscreen smell. I don’t mind it, but it is very noticeable. -The tint doesn’t provide any coverage for blemishes or anything like that. I think it sort of helps balance out skin tone and a bit of texture, but overall it doesn’t provide any coverage. -It’s on the smaller side. For 18 bucks, It’d be nice to get a larger tube. But I think it’s worth it because the formula is very nice for a drugstore brand. Overall, very good sunscreen especially for drugstore. Read more

I really wanted to like this sunscreen more, but after several wears I've decided it's just fine for what it is. If you are looking for coverage, something to cover up redness, this product isn't going to do it. The tint seems to be just to cover up any white cast. I have fair, cool-toned skin and the light shade was fine, I can see it working for different undertones of light skin due to the sheer tint. For the texture, I wasn't very impressed. It's thicker than I wanted it to be, and isn't something I would recommend layering or reapplying over itself, which isn't great for a sunscreen. If you're used to Asian sunscreens you will be disappointed. On my combination skin with dry patches it doesn't always feel like it dries down all the way, and leaves a slightly dewy finish. I don't mind it too much though, it feels moisturizing and isn't greasy like traditional beach sunscreens. I wear it under makeup and get a small amount of pilling with my normal foundation, but it's easily fixable. Also, for the texture I would expect more than just an SPF 30! On the bright side though it hasn't broken me out and no eye stinging. I think if you have sensitive skin and want a mineral sunscreen without a white cast, you might like this. I wanted this to be the sunscreen that finally made me like mineral sunscreens, but I guess I'll just always be an organic filters girl. Read more

I really, really like this sunscreen. I got the light color, and it fits close to my skin color. It has 21.6% zinc oxide which protects against UVA rays, and it has 30 spf for UVB rays. It has a dewy, shiny look and oily texture. Zinc oxide is a photo stable mineral UVA ray blocker, so this sunscreen doesn't degrade over time when you're in the sun. And this product has one of the highest concentrations on the market of zinc oxide (21.6%). I'll probably keep buying more in the future when I run out of this bottle. I bought a matte primer to apply first so that it mattifies this sunscreen when I put it on. Great product. I recommend. Read more

Light coverage with dewy finish perfect for no makeup-makeup looks. Appreciate the neutral-cool undertone as a cool olive girl. Read more
