I used to buy enormous sizes of this from Costco. Before discovering Rainbath I used plain old face soap (Clean & Clear in this case!) as a body wash because it did a reasonable job of removing oil without leaving a film. Rainbath does the same thing but leaves my skin soft without drying it out as much as my face soap did and it leaves -no- residue. It also smells amazing! Once Costco stopped carrying it I figured I might as well get whatever else they carried, Dove couldn't be that bad right? Wrong. I've come to realize Dove's body wash is basically liquid bar soap. It leaves a film and dries the heck out of my skin. I couldn't even make it through half a bottle before I ran screaming back to Rainbath. If I ever find the giant sizes of this I'll buy several because I don't know how I ever lived without it. As a bonus I've found I use 25-50% less soap when I use it with a loofah (I use a Salux towel, it's wonderful), this definitely helps make it more cost effective! Read more

Many years ago I first saw the Neutrogena Rainbath during our Holiday trip in the US. I was very pleased about its smothness and smell. I kept one bottle of a nice hotel in Hawaii, as it is a nice memory for our wedding holidays back in 96. Since then I was looking for this product. Unfortunately in my home country the product was not available. Today I am very pleased that I finally found the exact product as I remembered it. The smell, the easy application and the smooth feeling afterwards is just perfect for me (male). I highly recommend the product. I also purchased the soap bars. Some reviews state that the smell is different and obviously with a sweater fragrance than the original product. I've loved Rainbath for a long time - for over 20 years. My grandmother used to buy it (and only it) at Fedco (1948-1999). Though my grandmother bought and used it exclusively, it was not your typical "grandparent soap or smell". I was sad having not been able to find it on my own after growing up, but along came Amazon! I've since added it to my Subscribe & Save and love getting it right when I need it. This soap/gel does not leave one feeling dry or dehydrated after use. Showering! Tried other bath gels, no comparison! Used majority of my life. Great price. Since I am not even close to rich $10-$12 is a lot for me. So I pass on, buying lunch or dinner to soothe my soul. It’s worth it. And eat healthier as well. LoL! Read more

I’ve been using rain bath shower gel ever since I had a trial bottle from the hospital when I had my first child (she’s 30 now!!). It smells so fresh- and the suds are great if you use a scrubbie. It’s getting harder & harder to find- but luckily saw it on Amazon. Highly recommend! Read more

I love the scent and the smooth feeling that I get after using this. I stumbled onto this by accident, a relative had some and I tried it and immediately fell in love with it. If you enjoy the neutrogena soap smell but in a pump form this is for you. It doesn't dry out your skin and leaving a mild feeling oil protection on your skin. The scent lasts a few hours too so it's not gone after showering like other shower gels that I've used. Read more
