I bought an iPhone 17 Pro Max a month ago and applied the NeverBreak screen protector as soon as I unboxed my phone. I have used several different screen protectors for different phones over the years, and they have all been a challenge to get a perfect application - I succeeded about 50% of the time... The NeverBreak system was fast and easy and PERFECT! 35 days later, my phone fell out of my pocket as I was getting out of my truck and landed completely face down on a gravel parking lot - not your "soft" round gravel but 2" sharp broken rock on a construction site. It fell from about 5 feet, face down, no landing on the edge, and bouncing for this fall. I picked up and saw the screen and cringed - it looked horrible! I got home that night and peeled the screen protector off, and my iPhone screen was still flawless! I was going to complain about the “bubble free” claim after I put this on, because I had a bunch of bubbles when I put the screen on. My phone was clean and completely dust-free when I applied the protector, but there were a lot of bubbles when I put it on. Some of the bubbles were huge in the middle. I used the squeegee tool and got the big ones and the ones nearest the edges out, but I still had around 15 bubbles scattered around the middle areas. I’ve applied a lot of screen protectors over the years and I know that these are usually caused by dust. I looked at the bubbles under a microscope to see if there was any dust particles in the middle of them, but I couldn’t see anything. All I saw was air trapped in places. I’d just gotten a case for the phone that was kind of a pain to take off, so I just left it with the bubbles and planned on trying the second protector that came with the order tomorrow. I couldn’t really see the bubbles when the phone was on, so I just tried to ignore them. However, when I looked at the phone after it had been sitting for a few hours, I saw that all of the bubbles were gone. I’m glad that I didn’t use the second protector nor tried to peel it back to try to pick up any invisible dust. It just took care of itself and now looks absolutely perfect. I use these on all of my phones, and since I rarely drop them, they usually last a long time. I think the one on my last phone has been on there for at least a year. It had some scratches on it, but the phone’s screen is still in brand-new condition. I expect that this one will get some scratches on it, too. As long as they’re not excessive, I won’t mind. Super easy installation and very good quality so far. This didn’t get five stars because of the black border not really a fan of it as it feels like it’s intruding a tiny bit onto the scream real estate. The good news is that it’s minimal. The feel of the screen is great, very smooth and easy to type on, doesn’t feel like I have anything on here. I bought a screen protector from dBrand and the literally both cracked within 20 days. The first from my phone sitting on my desk and hitting my keyboard and the other from my phone dropping and hitting the back of the phone. Waste of money. This one feels just as good and is way cheaper. Time will tell for durability. Only one small section of bubbles on the screen which I’m sure will go away over time as it was just installed.
