What great shoes! I've tried a few tennis shoes and none were comfortable or wide enough. These ones are just awesome. I've tried to find similar cleats and can't match the fit from these. Tempted to buy another pair for when these eventually conk. A pleasure to wear. Read more

I have a narrow (B) width foot and this 806 was the only court shoe I could find in my 11.5 size. They fit well. I did add my Superfeet insole, first after removing the provided foam insole, and now on top of the provided insole. Without the foam insole the footbed is quite hard and unforgiving as the sole itself is solid, without spring. Using the superfeet on top of the foam insole is much more comfortable! I get a nice snug fit heel to ball, and a slight spread in the toe box. I like this. Being a leather shoe, they are heavy and less breathable, but I like the added strength I feel from the wrap. It took about 20 hours of play to break them in. These shoes provide a very positive feel of the court surface and I'm quite satisfied. Read more

The most recent pair of Newbalance shoes I ordered (NB 806) did not live up to my expectations. I have bought several pairs of NB1006 (have been unable to find lately) in the past several years and have always been very pleased with the way they fit, their comfort and their durability. The pair of NB806 I most recently purchased that was specified to be the same size as all the pairs previous ordered was not wide enough nor long enough. I returned the first pair and ordered a wider (4E) pair as a replacement. These were also very tight across the width of the shoe and very uncomfortable. Although I continued to try to wear them past the return deadline thinking they would loosen up, they have been very uncomfortable and I will not purchase Newbalance shoes like this in the future. Some of my friends that I play pickleball and tennis with who have purchased the NB806 tell me they have also had the same experience as me. Read more
