Theses shoes are really beautiful. They feel really durable and fit so good, but they are not very comfortable if you are not use to a steep heel. Because the heel is so steep you are walking on the balls of your feet, that is where most of the pressure is. These are not the kind of heels you go dancing in but they are good for movie night or dinner where you will be sitting most of the time. Yessss!! I am absolutely obsessed with these NEWBELLA mid-calf boots! They are magazine worthy and instagram fabulous. The pointed toe and stiletto heel give such an elegant, high-end look, while the fold-over collar adds just the right touch of fashion week runway vibes. They’re incredibly versatile — they pair well with leggings, or jeans for a chic casual vibe or even with dresses for a more dressed-up look. Despite the heel height, they’re shockingly pretty comfortable to walk in and feel well-balanced and supportive. I normally wear a 8.5 and 9 shoe depending on brand and type of shoe. The cuff makes my size 9s look like 6s and I absolutely love that. You really cannot see the height of the heel as well. But, they are indeed pretty high. I didn’t realize how high the heal was until after I put the shoe on. The quality is impressive so far— we’ll see how far they hold up to multiple wear and extended use. I ordered the snake pattern, size 9.5 - even though my usual shoe size is 8.5. I sized up to allow room for socks during fall and winter. However, because I sized up, the fit is a bit loose; I notice some heel slippage when walking unless I wear thicker socks, which makes the heel feel a bit unstable after a few hours. Also, after a short time of walking, the insole feels a bit firm and less cushioned than I’d like, so these aren’t the most comfortable if I’m on my feet all day.
