NEWBELLA Womens Over Knee Chunky Heel Lace Up Long Boots Sexy Round Toe Stretch Fit Boots for Fall

I received my Newbella tall over-the-knee boots and am very pleased! They look exactly as picture and do have more of a shiny or velvety almost type appearance and the color is really pretty. The boots are both comfortable and true to size for this brand - I typically wear an 8.5 but sometimes size up in boots and typically go with a 9 for Newbella. The heels are sturdy and the boots are balanced well, making them easy in which to walk. A note about sizing is that I essentially have really-really thin legs, and these boots don't completely fall off of me like many this high do. They actually come pretty close to fitting me. I wear adult XXS or girls' size L clothing lately, and while the fabric of the boots has some give, I don't think these boots would be comfortable on a body with a larger frame or thicker thighs. You'll want to check normal adult sized human reviews tor specifics, but my initial impression is that if these almost actually fit me - they run small in general on the legs. I bought these over-the-knee boots for the colder seasons, and they really make an outfit stand out. Immediately upon removing these from the box there is an unpleasant odor. This usually happens with faux leather products but because these are made of a velvet like fabric, I dont know what is causing the smell, but its gross. These boots fit well and have ample cushion inside making them pretty comfortable. I have thicker thighs and calves and these fit right over them with no problem. The bottoms have a little bit of texture and are rubberized so they're not real slippery. The heel is giving just the right amount of height and is still comfortable. They are not necessarily made terribly but they're not really amazing quality either. They are ok. I don't know that they'll last very long either being mainly fabric. The fabric feels a little bit cheap and also attracts a ton of lint. At the time of this review the asking price is $69. I don't feel these are a good value for that price. The quality just isn't there to command that price tag. I hope the smell goes away after sitting outside the box for a few more days. Read more

I’ve honestly lost count of how many NEWBELLA items I own at this point, but these over-the-knee brown velvet boots still managed to impress me. The fit is excellent, especially if you have slimmer legs — they hug without looking awkward or saggy, and the adjustable drawstring tie in the back is a great touch for fine-tuning the fit. I’m 5’9”, and these are truly over the knee on me, which is surprisingly hard to find. The chunky heel is a comfortable, walkable height, and the stretchy velvet material feels soft and cozy without overheating — warm like leggings, not heavy or stiff. NEWBELLA Over Knee Chunky Heel Lace Up Long Boots, Size 7, Color Brown: I’m so happy these fit! I’m normally a 6W, 6.5W, or 6.5-7 in boots when wide isn’t available. I’m glad I went with the 7 because otherwise I don’t think I’d be able to pull these boots all the way up. The width also fits nicely, no squeezing or pinching. My calves at their widest measure 15” and my lower thighs about 16” and upper about 21”. The heel is a good height and comfortable to walk in. These boots also keep my legs warm, not hot, but it's like wearing leggings. The ties on the back are adjustable. The quality is good. I really love the look of these boots. Good value. I recommend.
