NEWBELLA Womens Punk Rock Combat Boots - Edgy Gothic Mid Calf Pointed Toe Boots with Buckle Ring Details

I wanted to wear these a few times prior to writing a review. On first impression I felt that the toe box was very wide and that my feet were going to slide around in them. I just wore a thicker pair of boots socks and did not run into that issue at all. There is plenty of room though if you want to swap out the insoles for thicker padded ones and just where thinner socks. I absolutely love the design of these. I own multiple pairs of boots but do not have any like this so I jumped at the opportunity to get these. I have worn them with skinny jeans (I know millennial here lol) as well as a short leather skirt and lower cut top with a leather vest and have gotten many compliments both times. I had no problems wearing them throughout the night and moving around, even hitting the dance floor a few times and did not have sore or achy feet the next day. The height of the kitten heel is perfect and they are very easy and smooth to walk in. If you lift the fabric up , there is a zipper on the inside of the boot to make it easier to put them on and take them off and the hardware used seems to be good quality. I do not foresee having any issues with these with moderate to even heavy usage. Obviously they are not real leather in this price range but do not look overly tacky or cheap. I Love the darker Brown color and it is very neutral so it goes with many different outfits and styles. They were packaged well to be protected during shipping with each in it's individual dust bag with stuffing on the inside to stop it from getting deformed en route. These Boots took forever to arrive but they are amazing! I feel super sexy in them. I love the material they are made out of. It is not a heavy dense leather, but it is not a cheap flimsy pleather either. I'm not really sure how they made it look so good LOL. They are also not overly heavy on the foot which is nice. The detailing with the straps and the grommets are just absolutely perfect. It was easy to slip my foot into the boot and they were very comfortable. The lower heel and the wider leg make this an easy to wear boot. The straps were a little strange in that you can see the line where they folded the leather into the middle. I guess what I'm trying to say is it's not a solid piece of material. You can see the split on the back side which didn't make sense. I'm sure this will not cause any issues at all. These punk rock combat boots are absolutely amazing. They did take a while to arrive, but they were 100 percent worth the wait. As soon as I put them on, I could tell how well made they are. The quality is exceptional, especially for the price. They are true to size and surprisingly extremely comfortable, even with the pointed toe and edgy design. The buckle and ring details look incredible in person and really elevate the whole boot. They make such a bold statement and look perfect with streetwear, concert outfits, or anything edgy. I was drawn to these because they look like real leather and I was happy they did not have that strong chemical smell some faux materials have. The finish looks well-made, and the slight shine was more than I expected, but I ended up liking it because it brings attention to the boots and makes them stand out. The structure feels solid and the bottom is very firm. You can definitely feel each step, which is where I ran into an issue. Comfort is lacking straight out of the box. After wearing them for a bit, my feet started to hurt, and I realized insoles were a must for me. Once I added those, they became much more wearable. Overall, they are beautiful boots and look high quality for the style. They just are not built with comfort in mind on their own. If you are okay adding insoles and care more about the look than all day comfort, they can still be a good option. Read more

I ordered these on 10/17 for a holiday party dinner outfit that was on 12/13. They arrived on 12/14, a day after the party. They are nice and true to size for the most part, if you're going to wear stockings. If you're planning on wearing them with any sock, even a lightweight one, I would suggest going up half a size. Unfortunately since they did not arrive until the day after my holiday party I don't know when I will get to wear them much, probably not until next fall. They're not snow winter boots by any stretch of the imagination. They're well made but I don't think they're worth $80, especially considering the brand isn't even well known.
