I like that these boots only come up mid-calf or about 12 inches on your leg. I have fat calves and it's hard to find boots for 14 inch circumference calf. They are flexible enough that I can scrunch them down a little bit if needed to get zipped. Lots of room for your toes, however, not a lot of arch support. Has a nice soft leather-like feel. Bought these as a gift. I was very pleased when I saw them. They are very nice. I like the scrunched calf. The heel isn't high so they should be easy to walk in. They zip up so easy to put on.
