I buy tons of clothes for my many grandchildren, and the material of this set is no different than many of the shirts I've gotten the kids. This set will wash up well along with other lightweight clothing. Also, wash with similar colors. Lights with lights. Darks with darks. I wash clothes like these, this material, with other light and lightweight clothes, washing on cool/delicate, drying on low. The clothes wash up well. This is a cute summer outfit for my great grandson. The outfit is true to size. I got this in 12-18 months, and although my great grandson wears that size well right now ( he's 11 months. He's a tall guy) this outfit will fit this summer. The material thickness is lightweight. It's very breathable, comfortable, and very cute. It stretches. It's waffle knit. The top half of the onesie is blue, matching the shorts. The bottom panel of the onesie is white. The two horizontal panels of material textures and visible coloring contrasts but coordinates the outfit. There's a brown pocket on the onesie chest. The shorts have an elastic waistband, with a faux tied drawstring. The material of the outfit is 70% polyester and 30% cotton. The only way that you can damage this material blend (during laundering) is to dry on hot heat. I'd avoid a hot wash also. Wash with other lightweights on cool, dry on low. Read more

Another good thing is that the outfit is pretty easy to wash. After washing it once or twice, the fabric still looked good and didn’t shrink much. That’s always important with baby clothes since they need frequent washing. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the fabric is slightly thinner than I expected. It works well for summer, but I wish it felt just a little more durable. Also, depending on the size you order, you might want to size up if your baby is on the chunkier side. Overall though, this is a really cute and comfortable summer outfit for baby boys. It’s lightweight, stylish, and practical for everyday wear.
