I loved this chair! I have plenty of room to sit cross legged! I bought this chair so I could sit criss-cross comfortably on it. It is not big enough to do so. I can get one leg up on it if I sit in the chair at an angle. Now, I'm a plus sized girlie, so if you're smaller maybe it would work better for you. However, it is pretty comfortable, makes no noise when you move, and is very sturdy. Plus, it's super cute! I'm a petite woman (4' 10") and I love this chair! I assembled it mostly by myself, I needed help putting the back and seat together and the wheels on, but it was easy and directions were excellent. The chair really is very comfortable! I sit cross legged but after a while I will also sit with my feet on a footrest (because 4' 10"). I have spent long hours in this chair already and I'm buying a second one for a different desk, that's how happy I am with it. I have some hip and back issues and I find the wide seat helps me get and stay in a good position. I don't miss arm rests, I like being able to spread out in the chair. I'm writing this from my other desk with a typical office chair with a special foam cushion added to it, and I'm so uncomfortable, even with a footrest and good posture it's miserable!
