This chair is notably smaller than the typical size rolling desk chair that you've seen everywhere -- even the ones designated as "student" chairs. It has me pondering whether it was designed for the domestic Vietnamese market. First off, assembly was the simplest and easiest of any such chair I've put together. Everything fits together well, the back is attached by only two bolts, the mechanicals work fine. The seat is an appropriately squishy memory foam enclosed in a zippered shell and attached to the plastic platform by a stretchy cover which can be washed, and it sits flat and smooth instead of the usual contoured seat which makes more sense. Be aware that the base is smaller than what you are used to and the seat is smaller. The product page says, I notice now, that the chair can support up to 250 lbs. Before I read that I was thinking that even someone 200 lbs should not even consider the use of it -- it looks like if they were to lean back, with that small base, it would result in the chair falling over. In fact, I would have estimated the cutoff point at 150 lbs. I could very well be wrong. i was aware that the maximum height of the seat was not very high but I was willing to make that compromise for the sake of the item's other features. It turns out I need to put another cushion on it, which is fine. The piece appears sturdy and well made. I would not recommend it for J.J. Watt or Kim Kardashian, but for someone young or svelte it could be a nice purchase. Read more

pretty decent chair for the price but mine does not go up and down, maybe it's damaged in shipping or defective (the post had some tiny dents in it) but the mechanism to raise and lower it feels flimsy and possibly fake. I came to see the reviews to see if I'm the only one who experienced this. but the default height that it is stuck at is actually perfect for my desk so I don't mind. Read more

The seat cushion is a cover over the actual cushion that comes off. It is good because you can take it off to wash but it tends to slide off. By the look of the chair itself I don't expect it to last long. Read more
