The bottom-line up-front is that for less than $40 you are getting a shoe that is great for walking, low impact, and weight training at less than a quarter of many of the "athletic shoes" from big brands. I received this pair of shoes about three weeks ago, and this has become my "go to" shoe for both daily wear and low impact work outs. Additionally, I have been alternating these shoes with another, high end pair for my long walks. These shoes are great, and they have a number of clever design features. For example, the tongues are sewn into the side of the uppers. You will never have the tongue slide in under your foot again.
