I waited a while before giving a review because I wanted to make sure it would last. Well, it's been several months now and I can say this is a great product. It does exactly what you want. You just place the controller on the charger which is super easy and it fits perfectly. Then the controller charges when not in use. It has two slots so you can charge both at the same time. I have mine plugged into the wall via an outlet adapter you have to provide, but who doesn't have a hundred of those lying around. The blue light is really just to let you know it is powered on. Don't expect it to tell you the controller is charged or not. When I drop the controller on the base, I just make sure it lights up right away to show its charging, then I forget about it til I play next. I've never had an issue of it not charging or losing power. It looks great too on the desk. It's a light plastic but feels solidly built. Like I said, it only does one thing but it does it well. For an aftermarket product, this is honestly one of the best I’ve gotten. The dock is sturdy, looks clean next to the console, and it charges fast. The controllers seat easily and line up with the contacts without me having to fight it or “wiggle it” to start charging. Big plus that it’s compatible with the DualSense Edge (and regular DualSense). The charging indicators are helpful, and it keeps my controllers organized instead of leaving them on the table with a cable. Super easy to use. Just gently drop the controller in and it's connected and charging. It's not made of cheap plastic but is very durable and fits in small areas. The holes don't have lit blue rings around them, but the artist thought it was a cool look. Use this every day and would recommend it to others. Works perfectly. Read more
We've been using this for a few months now with our ps5 controllers, and it's been working great! It's super simple to put a controller on, so much so that you pretty much can't go wrong. Before, with out old charger, you would have to fiddle with it to get the controller just right to start charging. Now? Just drop it in and it'll sort itself out. Additionally, it cuts off when its supposed to, so we haven't seen any issues with over charging the controllers. So far, this was a great purchase and we are very happy with it! These PS5 remote charging ports were a breeze to set up and connect them to my PS5 and outlet. They charge the remotes quickly and look nice as well. This charger was a great deal for the money I spent. The controllers fit perfectly in the cradle and the charge lasts for hours. This charging cradle isn't one of the cheap ones either.
