This mask helped my cystic acne but the straps are poorly made. It’s easing to use. You must charge it after one use. It takes 15 minutes to complete a treatment. It has a variety of light features for your face which is a bonus. The red light is not strong enough to make a difference to your collagen. That was disappointing. It’s reasonably priced compared to others. If you need a mask for blue light for acne, this one fits the bill. It’s a pain to try and walk with the straps after a few uses. I had another type of light therapy mask that I got as a gift but if didn’t work much which was disappointing. I decided to search for light therapy device that would give better results as I have seen other people who used it had positive results. After some research I went with this Newkey light therapy mask. The mask came in a large box and everything seemed well made. I took a star off because it was a bit heavier than I expected and does create uncomfortable pressure if used for some time. The manual is okay but I would recommend doing some research on light therapy and how to use it and how long before using this or any light therapy devices. It was easy to operate and I mainly use the blue and red settings on this. I use the blue light setting when I’m using exfoliating skincare products. For red light I would use it whenever I use any hydrating or anti wrinkle products. I have been using this light therapy for over 2 months for every other day now and there is noticeable changes to my skin but not too drastic, will have to use this long to see better results. I saw faster and more positive results with using this then the other light therapy mask I had. My fine lines are gone and acne scars lightened. My skincare products definitely was absorbing better into my skin making my skin feel so much better! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone but do your research! Read more

When the significant other saw this, she wasn't quite sure what it was. Then I told her it was a light therapy face mask, and she became much more curious. She examined the box, and read the product details and read the user manual. She watched as I took the review photos and I could sense her excitement when I went through the various color light options. She said that she saw this when she went to a special spa with her friend, and it was a very expensive treatment. Neither of them got the treatment, but they saw someone receive the costly phototherapy. The product is designed with excellent quality materials and manufacture. The mask is a hard form/shape, with flexible protective eye cups. The sides of the mask has slots where head straps attach, to secure the mask in place. A cord with a usb connection is attached at the chin area. This does not go into a usb port or usb power plug. It plugs into the control pod. Nest to this usb port on the controller, is a port for the power supply plug to connect into. The controller has clearly marked and easily identifiable control buttons. The top left button, marked POWER, turns the power on/off. The TIME buttons allows the user to adjust the timer. The yellow center button, marked COLOR, cycles through the 7 lighting/color options. Yes, 7!!! The product details concentrates on the blue light therapy, ignoring that it has seven light therapy options. According to the product information: Red Mode: Anti-aging- Combats wrinkles and increases collagen production; Green Mode: Evens skin tones-Helps even skin complexion for naturally beautiful; Blue Mode: Anti-Acne-Fights acne-causing bacterial and reduces acne; Light Blue Mode: Soothing-Helps in the support in reducing the size of swollen capillaries; Yellow Mode: Revitalization-Promotes a brighter glow for more radiant skin; Purple Mode: Cell rejuvenation-Promotes healthy cells and regeneration; Cyan Mode:Accelerate active tissue metabolism. The suggested treatment duration is 10 - 20 minutes, 3 - 5 times a week. I think that the usage should be tempered according to one's skin type, sensitivity and mode used. When she found out the cost of this product, she said that's less than two treatments at that spa. So, owning this light therapy mask seems cost effective. (Probably saving me money!) It is priced in line with comparable products. She got on the phone to tell her friend that she has a light therapy mask, and to come on over. So, it seems this product is a winner. In fact, when I asked her assessment, she gave it four thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍 And, she said her friend will probably give it thumbs up, too. (But, I only count her thumbs, haha). I did advise her that they should keep their eyes closed during the treatments. Even though there is built in protective eye cups, it's wise/prudent to safeguard the eyes.
