No seams on stripes. Relieves neuropathy pain. Wonderful!!

BlueponyApril 28, 2020

Knee high compressions socks with moderate to firm compression greatly relieve the pain of my diabetic neuropathy. They are a life changer for me and I've become somewhat obsessed with them. I have pairs of 27 different brands with each pair in a labelled Ziploc bag. I have a spreadsheet summarizing my likes/dislikes of each. I've decided to consider myself to be a compression sock collector. At least this is less expensive and more practical than my cermanic cat and wooden frog collections. Based on my own experience and reading many Amazon reviews, I've decided that compression socks are a very individualized preference. What a person likes depends upon their needs for compression and the shape and size of their feet and legs. For my neuropathy, I need solid, steady compression at the feet that gradually tapers off at the toes. I am relatively tall (5 ft 8 in), have big feet (size 11 US women's), and skinny legs (13 in calves). Most of the 27 brands I rate 4 or 5 stars, and I wear them routinely. There are a few 1 or 2 star strong dislikes, which I do not wear because they are uncomfortable or don't help my foot pain. There are 4 brands that I rate as 5+ stars and are my favorites, which I will buy again. They are all so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them, yet they all help greatly with my foot pain. These include Rymora (with extra padded bottom foot, great for shoes with thin soles), Physix (relatively thin, great for hot days), and Wanderlust (thicker cotton, great for cold days). There is also Newzill with 20-30 mm Hg compression. It is my best all around compression sock. My spreadsheet reads: "Smooth, soft. Glide on readily. Thin. Very comfortable. Thicker than Physix with more foot padding." It was also a 5+ star. Then, a rainbow stripe pair of Newzill's arrived today. Now, Newzill has been promoted to 5++ stars, in a category all their own, and has prompted my first ever compression sock review. With summer almost here, if I'm going to be a dorky little old lady wearing knee high socks with shorts, I at least wanted the socks to look snazzy. (In my experience, ankle high compression socks don't relieve my neuropathy pain enough. Pain relief needs increased circulation throughout my legs.) I'd tried socks with stripes or patterns from other brands and they all had seams where the different colors/patterns met. The seams were uncomfortable and gave imprints on my legs and feet once the socks were removed. So, I had consigned myself to solid color socks. I left a rainbow striped pair of Newzill's in my Amazon Wish List, loving their look but dreading the thought of seams. I finally decided to take the plunge and spend the $12.99. They are here and they are wonderful. There are NO seams! They are knitted with the different colors flowing seamlessly one after the other. They are every bit as comfortable and pain-relieving as the solid color Newzill, which were already my top all around compression sock. 5++ stars. I am off to buy more. Read more

I am so happy to find a proper compression sock in something other ...

I am so happy to find a proper compression sock in something other than boring old black, white, nude, or navy! I have vascular problems and have had surgery, post surgery my doctor said I have to wear a 30 mmhg compression sock everyday for the rest of my life. so when trying to find some that were comfortable, or could at least pass as normall that i could buy more than 2 pairs at a time, well, it was difficult- the first pair I was given a prescription for cost $85 for a pair only available in white :( I am really happy I found these- they have very good compression for what I need; I have tried several brands over the past 7 yrs and these are the nicest; the compression in very nice, closer to 30 mmHg than 20 mmHg with a comfortable, but supportive taper;and there is a good amount of room in the toe without it feeling like a giant bag on my toes or like i will lose feeling in them from being too tight: they stay up! (i have a couple that roll just at the top top and it's horribly painful) It's nice to find a knee high compression sock the doesn't roll!! A very nice, thickened soul adding just a smidge of cushion without taking away room in you shoe. And finally, after 7 years, cute and fun patterns and colors!!! I am so excited you don't even know!!! Now the patterns are woven in, not printed so there is some texturing on the inside of the sock and because of this you will have that pattern on your skin when you remove the sock- but it is NOT noticeable when you are wearing them,( and this was after a 14hr shift, and I don't get to sit down; I didn't notice it until I saw it on the second day when I took my sock off; but don't worry, the weaving of the pattern isn't enough to cause issues... Now these are actual Compression socks! the are not what you buy in the drug store, so putting then on in something you learn how to do, but the company actually send you a video on the best way to do it... really nice if you are new to this type of sock. The company is really nice and attentive. I have always loved wearing striped, argyle, and other fun socks and I am soo, SOOOOO happy to get to wear these on my bad leg!!! can't wait to get more!!!! Nothing but good things to say!

Good Citizen FreemanJanuary 4, 2026

I'm very happy with my compression socks. I didn't realize how much fluid I had in my legs till I got these. Now they were a little difficult to put on the first few times but after a short break-in. And a little applied technique (roll them down from the top then put on foot and roll up) I figured them out. They're comfortable I wear them all day long they seem to be a very good quality and most importantly they do what they're supposed to do. I even got a pair for a friend. Read more

Slightly uncomfortable but wearable

Elvia EveringSeptember 9, 2025

These compression socks are pretty, the fit is snug (as compression socks should fit), however, after a few hours the snuggness at my feet felt a little uncomfortable. It may have been due to the swelling of my feet or I need to get used to the socks. I will continue to use use the socks starting the use for a few hours and gradually build up to longer hours. Comfort and ease of use

tim mcguireDecember 3, 2025

High quality, very comfortable and easy to to put on. Good compression. I have been a user of compression socks for 30 years. These are the best yet and the color options allow for shorts in public a little easier. Read more
