The media could not be loaded. This is going to be great to protect my toddlers mattress. We’re still in night time potty training mode so this is definitely needed. I did a water test and it didn’t absorb any of the water. It’s a little big for the mattress but it would fit a thicker mattress well. It’s not super soft and makes a lot of noise but I usually expect that from a mattress protector. Overall this is a great product! Read more
Like aa giant shower cap for mattress!
This waterproof mattress cover is heavy duty plastic material that feels like a showet cap & is crinkly plastic material. I put a softer mattress protector over the top to cut down on the crinkle noise & then a fitted sheet. It is waterproof & easy to clean, which is what I was looking for. Just as described & a great mattress protector. Easy to cover mattress with too! Read more
Super crinkly
I can't imagine trying to sleep on this. It's cheap, cheap plastic that crinkles excessively. I'm only using it to cover a top bunk mattress that I don't want the cats to pee on. If someone was to actually sleep on the mattress, I would have to remove the mattress cover first. Read more
quiet and "normal" looking
there is some sound, however we were using the mattress bag that the mattress comes in when you buy it, that usually you cut it away and remove and throw away. We used it to give some protection from any accidents from the potty training toddler. However it is very oversized and loud. This is product is a great replacement for that. Much quieter and a nice white fitted sheet that doubles as a mattress protector!! :) :) Read more

Good waterproof alternative mattress cover
This NexGen alternative mattress cover is made with a new material that doesn't have the harsh chemicals and crinkly sound of traditional plastic and vinyl mattress covers. This one meets half the criteria as it doesn't have the chemical but it still makes rustling noises on the bed. It is deep pocket and may stretch for an XL twin (though I did not try it). It seems to be pretty water resistant and yet can be washed. It has good elastic that keeps the cover over the mattress (they say up to 12-inch thickness and it fit my 6-inch without problem). The fabric is smooth but does not offer much additional padding. Read more
