The media could not be loaded. This is going to be great to protect my toddlers mattress. We’re still in night time potty training mode so this is definitely needed. I did a water test and it didn’t absorb any of the water. It’s a little big for the mattress but it would fit a thicker mattress well. there is some sound, however we were using the mattress bag that the mattress comes in when you buy it, that usually you cut it away and remove and throw away. We used it to give some protection from any accidents from the potty training toddler. However it is very oversized and loud. This is product is a great replacement for that. Good waterproof alternative mattress cover

This NexGen alternative mattress cover is made with a new material that doesn't have the harsh chemicals and crinkly sound of traditional plastic and vinyl mattress covers. This one meets half the criteria as it doesn't have the chemical but it still makes rustling noises on the bed. It is deep pocket and may stretch for an XL twin (though I did not try it). It seems to be pretty water resistant and yet can be washed. It has good elastic that keeps the cover over the mattress (they say up to 12-inch thickness and it fit my 6-inch without problem). The fabric is smooth but does not offer much additional padding. Read more
