Customers say

Customers find the racing wheel plate to be high-quality, solid, and well-designed, with zero flex in the rig. The assembly process receives mixed feedback - while some find the print instructions sufficient, others say it's not easy to put together. Moreover, opinions on value for money are divided, with some considering it good value while others find it expensive. The adjustment mechanism also gets mixed reviews.

Not the easiest to assemble but worth it

FrancoSeptember 28, 2025

This rig is solid as a rock and is a well thought out design. I opted for a stand alone keyboard and mouse stand and am glad I did as I would have had to move the gear shifter to the left side in order to mount the keyboard and mouse on the right which isn’t an issue for lefties or Europeans who generally have cars with their shifter on their left. It is good value for money. Buy once and forget about it. I have a simagic alfa evo pro which is quite heavy. If I had a wheelbase of less force feedback and weight a lesser rig would do equally well. It took me three days to assemble and tweak to to suit my ergonomic requirements. I used the brackets provided for mounting it on a shaker to mount my wheelbase with the aid of a drill and am satisfied with the results. Read more

Rock Solid Rig

Texas8709December 20, 2023

This racing cockpit has really impressed. It took about 2-3 hours to assemble, with a good chunk of that spent adjusting elements for my driving position. The print instructions were sufficient as well, although I do work with aluminum extrusion regularly. Those with less experience may take a bit more time, but shouldn't have issues getting through the assembly. There's also a pretty good instructional video on their website. I paired this cockpit with their ES1 seat, and it's a great combo. There is ZERO flex in the rig. It features plenty of robust 40x160mm and 40x120mm profiles. The mounting brackets and wheel plate are also made of 0.25in/6mm thick steel plates, at minimum. They are all covered with a very nice black powdercoat finish which matches perfectly to the black finish on the extrusion. It all feels and looks premium, and gets a reaction every time. My current wheel is only a Logitech G923, and this rig is beyond overkill for it. But bolting even that entry/low-level wheel up to this gave it more than 2 times the feel and precision compared to the flimsy wheel stand or desk I'd tried mounting it to previously. I never wanted to use the wheel previously because I had no feel and no precision (you can see in my pic it was gathering dust), and just using a normal controller produced far better lap times. Now I can push the car hard with the wheel, and even have enough feel to crank out consistent(ish) lap times. A direct drive wheel base is now my focus for shopping, but it is comforting to know that I've future proofed my setup where any wheelbase I decide to buy won't overpower the rig I mount it to. The negatives are minimal and expected, given what this rig is and the really powerful sim wheels it's designed to handle. 1) It is obviously heavy, though my wife and I were able to carry it from my truck inside easy enough. 2) It is somewhat large, but more so in length than width. With the shifter mounting bracket removed (very easy to take on and off), it fit through the standard-sized door into the room I have it in. 3) Setting up the driving position can be tedious. There's no dimensions for where to position the vertical posts for the wheel or the brackets for the pedal mount. Obviously there's so many sizes of users, and different driving positions (Formula/GT/In-between), it would be hard for them to really give a good starting setup. But with a little trial and error it can be done. 4) Adjusting the wheel plate. This is the only thing that irritated me during the assembly and adjustment. Having two people for this would be best, because you need to keep the plate level while trying to adjust up/down for the height. Then you need to snug one screw to hold it at your desired height while then angling the plate for your ideal tilt. Luckily they provide felt pads for any plates that will be sliding along the extrusion to help prevent marking up the finish. 5) Price (maybe). It is pretty expensive, but for what you get it doesn't feel like you were ripped off. I'm very familiar with the pricing of aluminum extrusion so given the high quality mounting brackets and hardware included here, and all wrapped up in a very nice/robust black finish, this actually seems very well priced. Extrusion is expensive, this seems like it could cost $2000+. Overall, this is a very solid and attractive racing cockpit. It's endless rigidity, adjustment, and customization potential are huge pluses. Most users would probably get all the rigidity they need out of NLR's normal F-GT Elite rig (primarily 40x120mm extrusion instead of 40x160mm) or even their Lite model (all 40x80mm). But this had a nice sale during Black Friday so I went with the overkill option. Given the mounting hardware looks to be the same high-quality, thick steel design across all of their cockpits, I don't think you can go wrong with any of their F-GT Elite products. Read more

Faster than your track times.

JDOctober 21, 2025

If you’re reading this, then you’re most likely a sim nerd. This review will be as fast as you wish you were on track. Is this pricey? Yes. Is this a quality piece of equipment? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Does it come with a whole 1/2” thick book to tell you every detailed step with pictures? Yes. So a caveman can do it? Yes, if he knew how to use basic tools. Read more

Good Frame

mohamedFebruary 27, 2025

The product is high-quality and well-built, but be prepared to set aside ample time for assembly. It arrives in a large, well-packaged box, with delivery drivers placing it inside my home. Each component is securely protected in foam, ensuring no damage during shipping. The structure itself is extremely sturdy, showing no flex even under the strongest force from pedals, wheels, and shifters. Some assembly steps required two people and took around five hours to complete. Additionally, the potential for future upgrades is a great feature. While it is quite expensive, the product spares no expense in quality and performs exceptionally well. Read more

Rigid and modular!

I went from a $30 junkyard seat on a $40 home built wood rig to this and now I’m almost as good as Summit! Read more

Low quality and not user friendly

After washing them for the first time, they came out with a hole on the side. Bad quality product.October 9, 2025

If it wasn't such a pain I would take it apart and send it back, low quality parts for the price. The design and idea is great but the functionality for the user is not great, adjustments are horrible. Read more

The only sim rig you will ever need.

CustomerMarch 3, 2025

Very pleased with this rig! It is well packaged & everything arrived in perfect shape. assembly took me 4-5hrs taking my time & following the instructions (I didnt want to have to disassemble then reassamble after a mistake). The written instructions are very well done. While lean on explanation, the drawings are exact. There is even video instructions for assembly though the written ones were so well done I only consulted the video once. Once assembled the rig is beefy! I recomend putting it on casters instead of the included feet to make moving it around managable. I would guess my rig with all the periferalls installed weighs well over 300lbs. I was a little reluctant to order a sim rig off Amazon but am now glad that I did. In addition to top rate quality, Amazon insured I got it fast. Read more
