This smart plug is constantly loosing WIFI connetion even if I move the plug near the router. When i click on the icon in the app indicating no WIFI connection, the app says the WIFI strength is "Good". Occasionally the plug comes back online and indicates a new firmware version is available, however, it fails the firmware download ... everytime. Reaching out to Nexx support is useless. They respond back with an idea to try, if you tell them that doesn't work, they ignore every email afterwards. I have several Nexx smart plugs ... some with the latest firmware and some that refuse to upgrade ... all of the plugs will randomly and intermittently loose connection. Ease of use is great. I have had the Nexx garage openers for a year or two and probably would not have tried the Nexx outlet but my Lutron Caseta system limits me to only 75 devices. I needed more (100) and since I had had great luck withe the Nexx garage door remote controls I decided to geve the remote outlet a try. Well it works. I have just ordered 4 more outlets from them. My wife (on iOS) and I (on Android) both had a devil of a time setting these up. They come pre-configures as WiFi access points, and the instructions tell you to download the Nexx Home app and then connect to the plug's WiFi signal. They also warn that you have to tell your phone not to switch back to a different signal, but the instructions for doing so did not match our phones' options. So it took some trial and error to get them working. Once they were set up, connecting them to Alexa and Google Home was easy enough. But sometimes (more often than not, it seems), Alexa or Google will say it can't reach one of them. We haven't had that problem with our Wemo smart plugs. Nexx does provide firmware updates through its app, which is nice. Maybe they'll get a fix pushed out someday. Read more

Plug is super easy to install and works great. The just drive feature is great and comes in handy when arriving home late. Only thing I wish I could have is more than 6 scheduled times. Read more

I bout the Nexx NWPG-100W smart plug a couple of months ago. It didn't work correctly from the beginning, and I've been trying to get tech support since then. However, the company didn't respond to any of my numerous emails and their only support chat (there is no phone number) never is operational. It appears they are out of business. Read more

Bought two of these for the Christmas lights inside and out of the house. Very simple set up and programming. Also have the garage door device so it was a no brainer to get these units. Read more
