I purchased 6 of these for my Hyundai Azera 2006 3.8L V6. I chose to stay with this brand and type plug because the Hyundai factory original NGK Iridium plugs lasted 160,000. Yes....160,000 miles before I decided to pay the labor to replace them. In my Hyundai V6, the engine is mounted sideways so the front 3 plugs are a breeze but the back 6 require quite a bit of labor to remove parts to get to them. I finally had the dealer do these while replacing valve gasket covers. This was expensive but necessary as I finally noticed a bit of rough idle and loss of about 1-2 mpg. I never expected more than just a better idle but I was amazed at both the power increase and MPG increase. The Azera V6 was already a pretty quick engine but after the new plugs I actually need to be much lighter on the gas pedal or I will get those front tires spinning. I am not sure how long my engine will last but if these plugs are half as durable as the first, they will most likely be the last plugs I ever need for this car. I strongly suggest buying these since you won't want to pay the shop to keep replacing those rear plugs at shorter intervals. In addition, the dealer provided me with the old original 160,000 mile plugs and they possibly could have been cleaned up and re-used! I realize that the condition of your engine will also determine your performance and condition of your plugs over time but I have done minimal service on this engine and the brand and type of plugs gave me trouble free performance for way past a spark plugs normal life span. These NGK Iridium plugs arrived in perfect condition in fresh crisp boxes, with ground electrode protector sleeves intact. Each plug was in obviously new and unused condition, with excellent workmanship all around that was a joy to see. I appreciate the evident uniform high standard of design and manufacture that can be seen in each visible detail, and these plugs are perfectly gapped, as well. Some spark plugs are not uniformly well made, and therefore can leak combustion gasses past the insulator, or malfunction due to faulty electrode, or the ground electrode making a shadow in the incoming air fuel charge, which does not combust nearly as well. Such was the case - leaking ceramic - that made it necessary to change the Bosch plugs that had been running in our Nissan Maxima for very few miles before persistent misses were noticed. These 6 New NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs BKR5EIX-11 # 5464, immediately made the engine pull with noticeable boost in power very strongly again, and our car's engine miss is almost completely gone, and fading fast after 20 miles.
