We've been using these rechargeable AAA batteries for a few months now with no issues. If they ever die spectacularly I will update this review but I expect I'll be using these in my tv remotes for many years to come. They come in a nice little plastic case, which I am using to hold spare batteries from now on. Read more

Good, not great. I wonder about the quality and if they will last long. Good price though Read more

After conditioning, tested at 1100mAH. Results will vary with charger.

I.M. SLUGGOAugust 17, 2024

I did 2 charge/discharge cycles at 200mA to condition the batteries (which may or may not be necessary - opinions differ) followed by 1 cycle at 300mA rate. The first 2 were done on one analyzer/charger and the last, on an Opus analyzer/charger. Results for the first 2 runs: 947 944 974 964 and 956 967 972 974. The last run at 300mA on the Opus device (which tends to measure higher than my other devices): 1053 1111 1128 1105. So, I would acknowledge these as 1100mAH batteries, bettering the claimed 1000mAH. I strongly recommend using rechargeable batteries in all remotes. They are far less likely to leak and damage the device. Many devices are simply unusable without a functioning remote. Similarly, battery-powered devices would be better served with rechargeables. Though I can't vouch for the claimed low self-discharge rate of 20% over 3 years, These are pretty powerful for AAA batteries. For comparison, Amazon Basics version, with a listed capacity of 900mAH, tested at around 920mAH. So, for me, a 5 star product. NOTE: Battery lists power/work capacity of 1200mWH and electrical capacity of 1000mAH. Electrical capacity X voltage equals power/work capacity. that is, 1000mAH x 1.2V = 1200mWH. Read more

Excellent alkaline substitute in low drain applications

Joe CNovember 15, 2024

We are replacing the alkaline batteries in our remotes and our emergency flashlights with rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, mainly because the alkaline cells seem to have a high propensity to fail and/or leak and not being there when we need them. One remote has been permanently damaged by this failure. Bear in mind that Ni-MH cells have a lower voltage than do the alkalines, which means the flashlights emit somewhat dimmer light but there seems to be no issue with the remotes. I hope that Ni-MH cells do not leak, but we’ll see over time. So far, we’re very happy with these. Read more

Good rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries.

Dave RaveAugust 11, 2024

I fully charged these batteries as soon as I got them and they charged up just fine. Then I measured the voltage and they all measured at 1.38-1.39V, which is good for NiMH batteries. I swapped them out for some fully charged Eneloops. They worked well and I’d subjectively say that they produced a slightly brighter light than the Eneloops (though in fairness, the Eneloops are few years old). I’m very please with that. I have no way to test the mAH capacity rating for these batteries, but I don’t doubt it. That’s a pretty normal rating for AAA NiMHs. Also, it’s too soon for me to know about their longevity or self-discharge rate. But if they fail to meet my expectations, I’ll likely revise this review. Alkaline batteries almost always end up leaking and causing corrosion on the terminals of my electronic devices, so I refuse to buy alkaline batteries ever again. Nowadays I only buy rechargeable NiMH batteries or LiFeS4 batteries because they don’t leak. I’m happy to add these to my collection of rechargeable NiMh batteries. Good batteries at a reasonable price. 5-stars. Read more
