I was initially unsure how this would be considering how used to LEGO I am but I would rate this as an amazing build with great features. Pros: - Pieces hold together quite well, maybe not quite as good as LEGO but very close - The instruction booklet was very detailed and I maybe had one or two issues understanding where a part connected but was able to figure it out based on either the next step or just staring at it for a moment - The overall size is perfect and the design of the interior fits so well with how it should be - Overall, amazing and will buy again from this company Cons - If I have to be picky, the color seems brighter than the images but after finishing the whole build, I think it looks great Read more
Surprised and very satisfied with the improvement in quality of the parts from this Niefliz set relative to the last set I built from Niefliz about two years ago. Extremely happy with the finished product. The build incorporated unique techniques, as well as standard techniques compared to some other LEGO cars of the same scale. No missing pieces, and the bags were (again) marked in a stepwise manner making things easy in terms of starting/stopping/cleaning up. I had to use super glue for a few connections/pieces due to low connection or “clamp” force between bricks, but that’s my only negative criticism. Made some modifications visible in the pictures, including addition of a third foot pedal and adjustment of the pedal positions, and flipped the rear wheels and removed stop pieces on the axles to adjust the wheelbase, plus added stop piece to the axle on the outside of each rear wheel to hold everything in place. There are a few different brands of building blocks I've come to like and these Nifeliz ones seem to be one of them and that just keeps being consistent. This was one of those more premium bigger cars and I was really excited because I wanted a car build this size for a while. The size is enough where I need to make soem room for it. The instruction guide is always an indication whether it'll be decent or not and this was a nice big full color more professional feeling instruction book. One thing I find often is myself trying to determine some certain colors of pieces compared to the book and this feels like the most accurate color brick to picture that was easily distinguishable that I've found yet. I never questioned whether I need this color or that with colors being close. It was quite fun to build and the end product is something decent enough. I say that because it felt sort of like it let me down a bit. I don't know if any other review mentioned this but the color of the red for the peiecs seemed off from what it looks like pictured. Sometimes it seems like a weird sort of watered down cheap red and other times it feels like a bkrnal red. It may depend on light but it also still doesn't feel like it matches the picture. The book and box give off this sort of glossy deep red and that doesn't translate. The best I can describe is it almost looks like the glossy deep red of an actual paint job on a car but it doesn't translate well. I don't know if they're just well edited set up pictures or what really. The car looks nice, the detail of the interior was really nice and intricate unlike some I've seen, but it kind of just feels like a bigger car set. It feels like it would look impressive in the picture but doesn't translate too well when finished. Also I was missing the silver hand brake stick so there's no hand brake and I did have one flat black one by one plate square that seems like it wasn't fully formed when it was made. What's supposed to be a square plate is more a half formed square with a slight notch where it failed to form. I'd use it still but it won't stay on the car and it happens to right above the wheel well between two curved black pieces that line the wheel well so I just have a red gap at the top with nothing that will stay there. With all that said I don't know if I can really say I love the quality and was slightly let down. It's still nice but those issues sort of sour the look a little for me. I would reccomend it as a good gift value still becuase I know the brand isnt normally like this. With it being so big it also gives a nice little inside look educational value of what the inside of a decent car build really looks like if you care about that. With all that I still like the brand but this one sits as a solid four stars for me. Read more
As a big fan of cars both new and old, this was a great set to pass a few afternoons over the course of a week. For the price, it’s hard to do any better. When you look at the completed model, you know for sure that you’re looking at a Datsun from the 70/80s. The pieces were a little finicky getting into place during a few steps later in the build, but they all came together nicely. It’s hard to dislike the set at all when you compare the price to Lego brand block sets. I’ve already got a few more sets saved in my cart for a rainy day. Read more
The NifeliZ set was great. From my experience I had with this cool set. The car itself, was well made. None of the bricks were loose at all. They all stayed in place. When I was building the nice (Nissan-Z240. I really liked how detailed the (Interior) was. To also the nice (Engine) what i really liked about this NifeliZ set. Was how big, the (Trunk) was, on the Nissan-Z240. I really liked how it had a storage compartment, with the spare-tire. Over all. I really liked the (NifeliZ-Set) of the cool (Nissan-Z240. I truly enjoyed building this kit. The instructions manual was easy to follow with clear directions. I love cars and this particular one is a car that I have wanted to own for quite so time and the fact that it comes in a kit is even better. Nifeliz have really improved their kits especially from the ones in the beginning. I would definitely recommend this one for its value, instructions and overall design. This one was nailed perfectly.
