The perfect solo festival tent. I use this tent for short solo festival sleeping, day to three days. Easy set up and I fit well with my day pack and sleeping bag and some other items inside. I am 5'7 165lbs. The rain fly offers external storage for other items, and I also store more items underneath cot. The fly closes and offers extra space to get changed easily while sitting on the cot with legs out. I do recommend additional sleeping pad for extra insulation in colder weather, as the draft of cold air under can take away from stored body heat. I use wool padding in cold weather. Set this up in my living room to inspect it, and it’s not bad at all to put together. After the first time it’s very easy. I do feel like the cot + the ten may be a bit more than advertised but it’s not too bad. Wouldn’t take it long distance backpacking, but perfect for a light hike in hike out campsite. Purchased this due to having had hip surgery in December, and wanting an option that would spare my other hip from the same fate. The cot set up is AWESOME! feels very durable, and surprisingly comfortable. You can use it at a shorter off ground height, or the higher option with the legs - so really you have three options. On ground, slightly raised, or totally off ground. Got this for about 180, and wish for that price that the stitching was less thrown together. It may need further waterproofing on the rain fly zipper, but otherwise looks fairly waterproof. I’m 5’ 6” and can sit up comfortably, but you might smack your face in your lantern if you forget it - just something to keep in mind. I have found I quite like night cat products. This tent is an amazing single person tent. As someone who rides a motorcycle, this works out great because I can put my gear under it (mostly boots, I tend to hang my jacket and pants on my bike while I sleep). It also can double as a chair if you want to pack light, sitting in the middle works out wonderfully. It's a bit cozy inside, but there is plenty of room. I also absolutely love how the cot weighs down the tent so that I don't have to fool with tent stakes - that's awesome! I feel like I have way more options with this terrain wise than a typical tent since it can be deployed on sharp rocks and I don't mind. Also I don't have to really do anything to prevent the bottom of the tent from getting damaged. The zippers on the tent are also of great quality and don't slip teeth etc. the tent goes together well and does not have any trouble zipping up. It doesn't feel like it's misshapen (something many cheap tents struggle with). There's also enough space to fit my resmed mini CPAP. It could probably fit in the pocket but I just laid it on my right side (it's a bit loud when near my head so I usually try to keep it away). I got great sleep in this. The tent bag is significantly smaller than the cot. I think I recall you can use this without the cot - that would be huge if you needed a very small packable tent. I wouldn't get it for that tbh though. I personally would need vestibule space if I didn't have the room under my cot. Many of these things may seem so small but they aren't to me - particularly the no tent stakes thing. I would have a hard time conveying just how much I hate hammering in tent stakes. Read more

Just received this tent and set it up in my living room. Tent was a breeze to set up. The cot was a different story. Probably due to the cold weather as it sat outside in freezing temps before I retrieved the package and the newness of the cot material, it was very difficult to assemble. Hoping the material gives a bit and it gets easier as I use the tent more and more. I have been backpacking and car camping for years and I own many tents ranging in price from $60 to $600. I have hammocked camped in hammock systems falling within a similar price range. For car camping, this is, by far, the most comfortable set up I have experienced. It did take more than 20 minutes to set up the first time but it should get easier going forward. I inspected the entire system and found no notable defects. I am using a 1 inch foam roll up pad on top of the cot for additional comfort and insulation and it works perfect. The tent is spacious for me. I am 5’7” 140 lbs and there is plenty of room for a larger person. Sitting up at the edge in the opening is a game changer. I could not stake out the vestibule in my LR but it appears there would be room to store your boots and various items and to even change your shirt or jacket without unzipping the fly. I am excited to take this out and would not be upset if I got some night rain just to test how it handles inclement weather. Here are some pics of the tent set up.
